Trapping yesterday

Zener is doing fine this morning. We love the flat blue! :-D :-D :-D Appy is on and off, as usual. Beans are staying calm, sort of. :lol: :lol: :lol:

OT: I caught Stella the skunk last night and then took her in my hatchback to release about 8 miles from here. They say 5 miles is the minimum. Hopefully, Stella finds a new home in the forest, or maybe that nearby gated community. I wrapped the cage in a cotton sheet, and then in a plastic sheet and I didn't even get a whiff during transport.

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans and sending comfort vines to Marje and Mike and other grieving beans. OTJ trials for Monet, Clyde, Shadow, and Mr. Cat are going well. Good job, kitties! Welcome back, Sienne, we're glad to see you and Gabby and Gizmo. :-D Have a great Monday, LL!

You're pretty brave not only catching a skunk but putting it in your car. :shock: Stella was a very lucky skunk to have wandered into your & Ann's yard. You should of keep her and did a daily cartoon called "The Adventures of Stella the Skunk". :lol:

We probably wouldn't have bothered with the trapping but the skunk was getting aggressive. She wasn't running from us and had a bit of a run-in with the kitties. That sealed her fate. I've trapped about 12 skunks in past years but we had a truck for transport (and Anne's truck, at that :lol: :lol: ). Only one ever sprayed and that was because I was jerking on the sheet and scared it. The car worked ok, I would do it again. Watch out, skunks!

Well what a nice looking surf for Zener! Time to eat up now :-D I'm sure Stella will be headed straight for that gated community :lol: Hopefully noone got your licence plate # :o :lol:

I'm glad you got Stella transported without any spraying. Hopefully she makes a good home in the woods.

Hope Zener has a nice long surf today! I am absolutely terrified of skunks!!! You are brave to put one in your car!!! Glad that you had a safe trip without it spraying.

Ugh on the stinky pinky. Paws crossed it's a short stay.

All quiet in the backyard tonight, yard patrols in progress and happy appy at the back porch picnic table. And then, there she is - ANOTHER SKUNK! This one was eating out of Zener's bowl on his picnic table!! :o Both kitties came scrambling in this time. Another female and bigger than the one Liz relocated last night. We think it might be Stella Senior. Looks like the trap is going about again tomorrow evening. :roll:

Thanks for stopping in to check on the action in Zener's condo today. :YMHUG:

You may have a family of skunks. :shock: You may have a busy Thanksgiving weekend!

Yo Z Man, Cat Hill was swinging today with all us kitties climbing around on THE CAT. More fun tomorrow. Stay away from those skunks!

Keep sliding Z-man! Yeah, I think you are going to have a busy weekend transporting your guests to new homes. At least the drive is gorgeous.
