Good morning all,

Nice day here in Central FL...cool and crisp outside. Too bad I need to clean the house and finish up my evaluation plan thingy. :sad: Oh well, windows cracked, breeze blowing! Shasta is laying in my lap and being very moody today. Her appy is pretty poopy...even with adding little bits of 12% FF Elegant Medley Chicken...still poopy. Speaking of poopy...I know there was some action in the LB (of the poopy kind) because her Royal Hiney came in with litter caked on her nose...but that was her 2nd time in the LB in 5 minutes...doesn't sound like things are moving very well. (?)

I just don't think she's feeling well...after the pukus last night, blah mood, lack of appy and double trips to the LB... :YMSIGH: grr_red

She did play this morning with her bird toy, got some purrs before we finally got out of bed, not much preening that I've seen. I'll keep everyone updated as the day goes on. In the meantime, here are a few pics of her being warm and cozy on my lap...at this very minute!

+10= (gave small snack of 3% FF T&G - very bossy cat!)

+4=100 (held bowl so that she would eat her 3%)
+5=71 (added a few nibblets of 12% to entice appy)
+5.5=81 (added Purebites, shredded chicken to entice...not really interested...going to bed, but leaving out 3% just in case)

I can see the progressive attitude there of "why the pictures" , "enough already" :lol:
I never can go grab the camera to get those better shots.
It's like they just know.... and suddenly the mood isn't as cute.

Hope you get something done....

Awww.....some really sweet pics of Shasta and loves your lap. So sorry Shasta is feeling under the weather and poor appy. I hope it's just an off kitty day and nothing going on there! Sending some feel better vines. Hey Shasta, you'll feel better with our trip to NYC says Mags. Hope you get your walk in and some of the online ordering. I usually place something in the cart, intending on returning and get sidetracked and miss the darn sale. Have a nice day.

Oh what a pretty girl. She just wants her mama. Hope she is feeling better soon. Sounds like the weather is nice. Our fur kids always like the windows cracked. Have a great night Deborah!

Rhiannon - I keep my camera on the backside of my couch so that it's handy for me to catch "those" moments...but after about the 7th shot, I start getting the tail flicks, ears back, glare! :lol: BUT SHE'S JUST SO DARN CUTE! I have to admit I was quite productive today...laundry, cleaning, paper, returns to mall, grocery store, fed horses, snuggles w/ Shasta...pretty productive!

Hi Ann - I'm kind of surprised with myself today...got much more done then I expected. Nothing ordered online yet...lots of things in my wishlist, but like you, I'll probably miss out on the deals because I forget about them! I'm finishing up my big evaluation thingy now - about 30 more minutes of stressing over it and then I don't want to think about it again until I'm told I have to think about it!!! :lol: Thanks for the Get Better vines. I still don't think she's feeling well and I have a feeling it's her tummy and/or anal sacs?! :YMSIGH: Hope you and Maggie are having a great night!

Hello Melissa - Thanks for checking in on us tonight. I'm hoping she feels better soon, too. It's about time for her shots, so I may just go ahead and make an appointment sooner than later and get the shots and anal sacs done at once. Don't know if that's what is causing her discomfort or if it is something else or if it is just her being a cat.

The first time (and only time) I met with my new vet, he mentioned me maybe weening her off of the atenolol (for her heart problem) because I hadn't noticed her having any more "unplanned" sitting down episodes (saddle thrombosis). Then he said, sometimes the medication we have them on for one problem is masking that of another problem. :shock: Oh Lord...I hope not. If that's the case, I'm increasing her stinkin' dose of atenolol and masking whatever problem might be lying in wait. :YMSIGH:

Ok, off to finish this stoooooopid paper thing-a-ma-bob! Hopefully, I'll be back in a few?! Either that or call 911...I'm going to go insane on this paper!!! :twisted:

Thanks Michelle, she's definitely a little like sweet and sour chicken...you can see how she sours as the pictures go on!!!! :lol: She's resting comfortably on my lap right now and I'm about to really tick her off by picking her up for a +5. :roll: :lol: Hope you have a great night!!
