punkin's having a super morning! he's sitting on the floor by me, tuning into the universe and purring away. "i'm so happy!" he got his 2nd acupuncture treatment this morning and his pupils are really contracting this afternoon. not sure that those are related to each other, but i'm so happy to see it.

the vet gave him some chinese herbs to begin tonight with him. i told him about punkin jumping onto the back of the sofa and now onto the table near it - don't know if this is from the cosequin or the acupuncture and he said "or both." so we'll add the herbs tonight (good thing he likes those pill pockets!) and see how it goes.

his BG has been running a little high - i can't see a bounce and am not sure if i should take him back up a little on the dose. i think we're going to increase .25 tonight if he doesn't get lower during this cycle.

Hi guys - I am glad to read that the acupuncture seems to be helping Punkin. A friend of mine does that with her cat and she swears by it. It works very well with her kitty. Good luck with the dosecrease if you decide to go ahead with it.

Great report on Punkin! I'm glad to hear that he may having a good response to the acupuncture. And the news on his pupils, it's all so heartwarming. The feel good condo of the day!

Great news on the pupils! Anne said that the acupuncture could result in less pain and dilation is a typical response to pain. So it could be the acupuncture and/or the tumor shrinking. Like we expect to know these things. :lol: :lol: Hope the dosecrease brings him down to better numbers. Punkin is my sweetheart!
