Hi Everyone,
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I decided to skip Nap's shots today as I was gone from morning and did not return until 1:30 this morning of out state. I considered a BCS dose but no one was available to monitor him or feed directly so as his mamabean I decided this would be safest for him to skip altogether. I could not have shot PMPS at all because I was nowhere near home, so I had no choice there unfortunately. The travel was also too far and too much stress on him to bring him along - I would have if I could. We use an autofeeder when not home but sometimes he does not know it has opened or does not eat much from it so skipping his shots today with the assumption that he may not eat very much was the best thing for me to do.
His number when I returned tonight was not as bad as I thought it would be and he had a lot of energy both before I left this morning and when I returned tonight. I also tested for ketones when I returned and thankfully it was negative.
Back to our regular schedule in a few hours. Good night I-)
