Good day everyone. Continued healing vines and lots of good thoughts going out to Mike and Jill and all who need them.
Well my girl was 88 this AMPS and I am a little nervous since she is now getting 4 units but I will keep a close eye on things today.
The litter box saga has ended for now. I cleaned it and put it away. It was stressing us both out so we have found a tentative arrangement and we shall take this 1 day and 1 step at a time. She had her box in the long bathroom vanity under the sink, on the other side of the sink. I had removed the doors for her. She likes her "bathroom" and continued to go pee there so I am now putting pee pads down and she is using them like they were her LB. I also put 1 in front of the entry and of course she used that to poo on this AM. Gotta love this cat, a new way of doing things, at least for her. I can manage this if she keeps it all there. I did order the attract cat litter and a new high sided box with a low entrance. I am hoping she will be drawn to that and I can place it where the pee pads are now. Of course, one can never figure out a kitty. They pretty much rule, at least Morgaine does.
While I am at it, I want to share what I am using to clean up the odor of fresh pee. I use 3% hydrogen peroxide, a little baking soda and a few drops of liquid dish soap. It has to be mixed fresh and it seems to do a great job. I washed my bathroom floor with it and washed out the cupboard where her pee pads are. No odor as far as I can tell. Then I sprayed it with Cat Odor Off and we are in business. She doesn't mind the cat odor off and it smells fresh.
Here is the formula. I quartered it as my bathroom is small.
