Yesterday was .... yellow and pink day.  Not one of Mannie's better days, but it was an improvement over the day before. I had hoped he would continue to head on down, but alas: a vetty visit took care of that. I will wait for this bounce from his dive on Thanksgiving, and his reaction to his vetty visit ton clear before considering a dosecrease for Mannie. We simply must get rid of all this yellow and pink.... Mannie - think blue, think green! Lubs ya big guy. cat_pet_icon
Copied from yesterday: Vet visit went well, I suppose. ;-) BP is still as elevated as it was when he was at the cardio man's place. So my vet will contact him and see about a course of action. I hear that normal BP should be in the 100's, expected elevations at vetty visit maybe in the 160's, due to stress. Mannie's is in the 210 range. So.... we will see what cardio man has to say and if we need to out Mannie on some BP meds too. I wish I could get a reading at home, so we could have a good number, a resting number, to know where he truly is. I may look into seeing what it would take to do that. And once again NO URINE! His bladder was so small that the vet could not really get any out of him, plus he was such a squirmer. It looks like he had emptied it just prior to his visit. ohmygod_smile They suggested I leave him  , I said no. SO we will try and collect some at home. I know... not sterile... but we really aren't looking for an infection, or UTI. I t was requested by the cardio man, for whatever he is looking for.... AIyyeeeee - I so hope he pees in what they sent home, makes collection easy, if only he will cooperate.   Oh sure.... this is Mannie. One says can you pee? and he says no, not today.
All is well in MannieLand.
I have been forgiven for taking him to the vet yesterday. Although he seems a tad bit perturbed that I am keeping after him for a piddle sample.  He was a bit subdued yesterday - I am assuming from being a pink kitty most of the day. Could be too just a reaction to the colder weather. He has always been a sleeper when the weather turns chilly. Could be too that he is just worn out from some rather stressful days: T-Day travel, and a vetty visit. Nanners sure got a workout yesterday.
They always sees to be his refuge.. and security blanket.
This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and lots of cuddles. Normalcy in MannieLand.
Have a great day everyone. More catch up here today, and cleaning... I will have Nicholas all week starting tomorrow, so hope to get as much done today, that normally would be done early in the week. FUN!
Hey everybody!! We is off to NYC!! Rusty is there and we will have a day in Central Park! Hot dogs, tourists and squirrels. I hope too that we can take carriage ride, I so wanna do that. So.... grab your stuff - we are off the the big city, WOO HOO! ~~ Mannie
