Evey the Great Strong Fur Ball survived this horrible experience and she comes back home today!!! Since she has been eating the Royal Canin Recovery wet food and the shot time was really strange due to the hospital hour, her blood sugar hasn't been that good. The vet said she should change gradually from the Royal Canin Recovery to her regular Fellicita wet food. I think that will affect with her BG and dosage too. They gave her 1U this morning at 8am. I'm not really sure what dosage i should give her tonight and what time i should give it to her.

I’m so sorry to hear Evey was in the hospital. Sending prayers for her quick recovery ❤️

I hope you get some advice on dosing soon!

Neko had her own adventures in an oxygen chamber, so I was silently watching and cheering along Evey. I am so happy to hear that she is home again. :joyful::joyful:

The Royal Canin Recovery wet food is low carb. It is easy to syringe or put in a feeding tube, so that's probably why she got it. The bonus for me is that Neko actually liked it.

Please update the spreadsheet for us. It's how we can follow along too.

Thank you for cheering for Evey. How's Neko doing? Is he getting better?

Sorry, I already updated the SS. Her BG is mostly yellow and blue now. It's really frustrating. I thought Royal Canin Recovery wet food might be the cause. I don't know what would cause her BG being so high.

Neko passed in 2016. :( She had a bunch of other things wrong with her. It was a fight between her heart and her kidneys.

Evey saw greens last night - the first time in possibly 9 days. She could be bouncing. Plus the dose has been jumping around. Give her some time to recover with consistent dosing. Try not to worry about the BG's for a few days. Focus on the rest of her instead for now.

Sorry. He is in Kitty wonderland now, no more sickness and pain. Thank you! I will focus on her recovery first and see how her BG goes.
