Good Morning LL

I was surprised to find blue this morning.
I got up at Check's +6 (1am). He chatted with me all the way to the kitchen, no doubt telling me how I starve him.
He was a nice 114. :-D
Not knowing if he was dropping, and knowing I wouldn't get up again, I gave him 'some' MC.
I really thought he'd be his normal yellow at amps.

I'm wondering if a slightly higher carb food would keep him more blue?
I seem to remember reading something about that on here.

Wow, nice start for Checkers today. and an even nicer number at 1AM :-D :cool: I too have fed a little fuds late into the cycle. I think it helps the hold the line better, counteracts the effects of the insulin, and a dropping cycle. It depends on how low Mannie is as to whether he gets LC or MC. I'm not sure that a higher carb food would keep him more blue, but would maybe keep him more even. ?? IMHO. always such a guessing game with this fuds stuff. Just when I think I have it all figured out Mannie changes the game plan... :roll: :lol:

Enjoy your day today. Good weather? We were supposed to be sunny, but alas, the clouds have moved in, ow the fog. HAHA, and so much for that sun....

Mid carb will give more blue? That's interesting.
Come down Checkers, surf into the blue & green .

Morning Barb, nice report on Checkers today. Interesting with the mc and more blues. It will be interesting to watch your experiment. I was waiting to hear if you and Checks had an argument with the sink drinking. :lol: Have a nice day.

I've been trying to figure out how much extra food to leave out for Furball during the day while I am at work, and at night, to keep her from bouncing so high. Just when I thought I had it figured out, she bounced again. I hope Checkers keeps surfing for you today.

Morning Barb and Checkers, how are you guys? Nice to see some beautiful green this morning. I haven't figured out the difference between lc and mc as far as Scrabble goes. The other night he dropped to 56 then shot up 250 points in an hour and a half with lc. Hard to say what the right amount is. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

Wow Michelle, that's quite a hike. In the two and a half years I've been doing this dance, I'm still learning.

Normally I leave out a little lc for Checks.. I leave some out in the civvies' room too. I have no idea who eats it, but most is gone in the morning.
Checkers runs and starts eating the leftover nasty dry cold stuff, when I get up. Blech!
Last night, he must have been happy to get fresh warm food at his +6. I gave the mc because I didn't want him to take a dive while I was sleeping.
This sure is a learning process.

Nice greens for Checks! Tarragon isn't that carb sensitive but very good about eating when low. I don't blame you on the MC. Better to be safe than sorry. Turnup always eats the dried up stuff too while I am getting their breffis ready. Silly kitties. Have a great day!!

Maybe you lucked out and found the perfect time for the snack. Just right to stimulate a little indogenous insulin but not too late so AMBG wasn't effected. of course you know it will change next week! :roll:
