Nice to see an almost-mid-blue this morning, instead of a high-blue/low-yellow. Her crazy pancreas is making me crazy...but that's nothing new   ! A typical morning here in SnuggleCity...very happy appy, abundant snuggles, and the like. Gelcap went down on the third try, sans hissing, growling, and swatting. Phew!
Ella...interesting idea about using hospital gloves will pilling. The excessive hand-washing that comes with the pilling is really drying my hands out, but I do wonder what Trix would think of the gloves. I'm going to look into the idea, though.
My civvie Petey is snuffling and sneezing up a storm. Ugh! He's happy and energetic and his appy is still great despite the sneezies....hopefully things will stay that way while he gets over this cold, and hopefully no one else will come down with it.
Today SHOULD be my Dad's 6th round of chemo. The lung infection seems to be gone, and by now his platelets should be fine (they were great last week, and without a treatment there is no reason to believe they would be too low this week). We are seeing a different doc today....my Dad's oncologist is not in the office. That will be strange...it's nerve-rattling to see someone who is not familiar with my Dad personally, but what can ya do? Hopefully it will just be a routine round and seeing a different doc will be a non-issue. We had a nice dinner last night, and he was really surprised by the pie I brought along.
Sending extra prayers out to Tricia and her civvies Minka and Harvey, as well as Georgia's Simon....feel better, little ones!
Time to get moving...have a great day, LL!
