Happy Monday all! Yes, there really is such a thing :) Sarge is starting the day in the pink after hitting a green 54 last night. Afraid he would go lower with his 2.5 unit shed still draining I fed him a couple times before I was confident enough to do more than just nap last night. Boy are the long nights adding up but it's all forgotten when I see him playing like a big crazy kitten again. I am going to go home soon and check on him mid-cycle. I still don't trust his current dose. When I have a little time off for Thanksgiving I will be able to do a curve with no food boosts and really figure out where we are. Until then I have been feeding at mid-cycle 50's to prevent going low. His nadir seems to run anywhere from 6 to 8 hours depending on whether we are clearing a bounce etc. so I'm never quite sure where bottom is at the moment.

When I got home for lunch it was +6.25 and Sarge was at 103. When I left it was +7 and he was at 83. I wish I could have stayed longer to see if get went down more or surfed. I gave him a tablespoon of 5% carb food before I left for insurance. He nibbled at it but left about half since he ate his regular 3% food when he saw I was home so he wasn't very hungry. I hate that I couldn't stay longer. I keep reminding myself that there is food all over the house and he seems to know to eat when he needs too. I should be home by +10 and I will check in on this BG again then.

Nice recovery from this morning's bounce. Sarge's SS is starting to look really good.
