Hi all!
Haven't been good at posting lately for which I apologize. Things have been keeping me busy, tired and kinda under the weather. Anyway, Cords is back to normal again today, but he had an episode yesterday of diarrhea/constipation/very hot ears/high blood sugar all at the same time. I was at work, but Brandon ended up taking him to the vet. They took x-rays and checked him out, but couldn't find anything wrong, which is good, but also confusing!
Last night, when I got home, I noticed that this black blood-blister-looking thing on the inside of his ear had opened up/popped. The black looking stuff had come out. It was a pasty consistency, but didn't smell or anything. Today, I got more of it out by squeezing on it a little. Later today, I'm going to clean it with a q-tip and peroxide. Anyway, I'm wondering if that had anything to do with his bout yesterday. Probably just a coincidence.
I hope all is well with you and your beloved kitties!!!
