This is a hard day for me. It's my first Thanksgiving without my mom but I wanted to drop in and wish everyone here in LL a very wonderful Thanksgiving (for those who celebrate). I am very grateful for the help and support and even just the laughs that I have gotten from you very special people over the last two years. If it were not for this board I would not be looking at my Alex now..I am sure of that.
I had a rough two weeks with Jackson. I thought his heart was failing again but it appears now as if he got a lung infection when I lost power for 3 days and it was so freezing in here. Whatever it was, he was having a lot of trouble breathing and xrays didn't show any fluid but his lungs looked abnormal. After 3 days of antibiotics he started coming around and he is pretty much back to normal now
. (UNJINX UNJINX) My 2 furballs have shown me, more than anyone I know, what it means to love life and to 'keep on keeping on' and that is what I am most grateful for today because I don't know what I would do without them...especially this year(lol who am I kidding..any year)
Happy Thanksgiving from our home to yours and have a peaceful family day EVERYONE! :YMHUG:
xoxo
