My Thanksgivining afternoon spent with great friends and fantastic food was AWESOME! And then I came home and everything pretty much went to hell  And I say that with a grain of salt because I know many other people on this board and elsewhere in life are dealing with so much more, but for my little world it seemed pretty poopy. Both droolers had thrown up and Buster's numbers went yellow and stayed there. grumpy_cat I think one drooler may have thrown up as I have recently upped his dose of Rimadyl. The other one probably threw up because he has a very sensitive stomach and I gave him an abnormal treat of freeze dried chicken which didn't seem to agree with him. So, up most of the night with a pukey dog or testing Buster who wasn't going down - ugh!!
DEEP BREATH!!
I have a feeling my insulin has lost it's potency. So, I went to get a refill today and I have no more refills on this prescription ohmygod_smile Called the vet and, of course, they are closed for the holiday. Thought I could be crafty and I called the ER that took care of Buster when he went hypo to see if they could write a script - nope. :YMSIGH: So, here I sit, telling myself there's nothing I can do but wait for tomorrow...how many more hours is that now? I am going to try to get the pens as everyone recommends. And then we can try to get Buster back on track. I guess I should be thankful I get to catch up on some sleep, right? I-)
Have to give my DH some credit today. I have always trimmed my drooler's nails by myself until recently . My eldest, Cosmo, has weaker legs and has a tough time standing on 3 legs. I have tried putting something under his chest and also putting him on his side, but he just fights me all the way now. I had gotten one foot done the other day and was going for the other 3 today, as it is beautiful outside! We struggled and struggled until finally my DH decided to lend a hand!! YAY DH!! Together we got it done! I think I might just keep him around awhile longer after all haha_smiley
Although I'm having my own pity party, I'm thinking of others who have greater challenges and send strength and healing vines to all who need them! Some days are just for the birds! HUGS LL!! :YMHUG:
