WCR All personal Ps in place.

Powders gums are still quite inflamed. I found the antibiotic Ele recommended by searching old posts its Zenequin. Vet was going to put him on Baytril which Powder hates. Has anyone had a difficult gingivitis to clear and if so what AB finally cleared it?

No advice on the antibiotic question but I hope you get it figured out and I hope powders gums start feeling better soon ... have a great day guys!

Kathy --

I'm concerned about the gingivitis. The dental should have gotten rid of the plaque that causes the inflammation -- that's the point of a dental, or at least one of the points of having a dental done. Usually, if ABs are needed after a dental it's for a period of a few days, not a month. Do you know if there's a board certified veterinary dentist in your area? It might be worth a consultation.

Hope he clears the bounce!! Kathy...did you have him tested for the viral panel yet? I would....some of those can definitely cause red gums!!
