I like today's AMPS better than the past several days. Good job, Jill! We are seeing the vet this afternoon about her butt. No poops overnight, but she's got something stuck back there that's either poop or (hopefully not) a prolapse and I don't want to pull at it to see if it will come off :(

Got back from the vet and it was just hard poop stuck to her butt. In the process of them cleaning her up, they wrapped her in a towel and when they brought her back to me I noticed that she had several large clumps of fur that had fallen off, maybe where they were holding her. It looks like she got waxed. The fur came clear off. The vet had no idea why it would have happened. She has skin issues - benign growth and a pigmented plaque were removed in August. And she often gets scabby bits that come off but never anything like this. Had anyone seen this before? Not even sure who to tag.

I feel so bad for her :(

Baby girl! That looks painful. Is contact dermatitis possible? Though it looks a bit too raw for that. Early on in Temp's FD saga, he practically had bald spots on his side. Vet told us it was fine, and just a side effect of FD.

My vet said a lot of the skin stuff can be diabetes related but what happened yesterday seems extreme. It literally came off in clumps like someone grabbed and pulled her fur out.
