Happy Monday LL! Well....I got 5..count them 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep last night YAY!! I feel like a new person today. Again...do not know how Michelle and Ann do it esp Michelle since Mannie likes to go low at night. I called it a night at +3 after her minimeal and then just got up to check at +4 and +6 because lately her action has shifted to the right.
Got lots of Gracie cuddles last night, too...perfect :-D

WCR: 4Ps and 3Hs in place....Tobey has been a wild man and so she's had to hiss at him a few times when they've been playing. Her eyes are still a little squinty...meds won't be here until tomorrow. I'm thinking "why doesn't this opthamalogist carry this stuff" but it has to be compounded by a special lab. So I know that while she's playing, she still isn't feeling 100%. I'm hoping this AMPS means she's adapting to her new dose and all the NDW and carryover from the other dose are clear now.

Good Morning Guys,

Just look at that 263, very nice, Gracie is liken the New Dose..... Made me very happy to see her 263, and she is 100%... well better than she has been, TLC, Warm Compresses are the best.

My moma bean is still fusing over me still, but I heard her just call dad bean, she has some more packing to do, keeping my paws crossed, I can get outta her in a bit. Looken forward to seeing everyone ~ Essi ps. I can drive, since your eyes are still not "open" all the way", its the least I can do, you bring the catnip (you have the fresh stuff ;-) ) and I will drive? hows that?

I'm glad you got some sleep last night. And I'm glad that Gracie feeling good in spite of her eyes. I hope she's better soon and I hope she likes the new dose.

I gave her 9% gravy at +2 and then 1 tsp 5% food w/1 tsp 9% gravy at 2.5. Will recheck this number in 15 until I get her up.

Sienne..I've been trying to get +1s here and there...Jill said I didn't have to get them every time and it was mainly to see how she was responding to food. Since I already knew she doesn't get a spike from what I fed her this morning and her AMPS wasn't low but because it was low enough for her I figured she'd get into blue/green sometime today and I'd be doing more testing, I didn't do it. Bad call...she's only dropped like this between AMPS and +2 one other time.

MJ....yes...but what is it saying....working? Not working? Sputtering??? wanna work but can't figure it out??? I did not expect her to like this dose this soon....sort of like Mannie on his last decrease.

Michelle...what IS it with these two? :lol: :lol: They just keep sharing the diving equipment.

Celi....no, it wasn't the song :lol: :lol: She just doesn't like consistency!

eta: got her up to 55 @ 2.75; fed more 5% with 9% gravy...will recheck in 30. I don't mind her surfing mid-high 50s/60s as long as she doesn't go lower. It's like the Mannie/Tess/Gracie who can dive faster show :lol:

We have a heated competition here at the LL West Coast Diving Championships today, folks.
  • •Tess took an early lead w/ a 225 point drop by +2
    •Gracie starting at a 100 point disadvantage followed quickly, bypassing the blues directly to low greens w/ a 57 at +2, extra points for style there
    •Gracie sought to consolidate her advantage, dropping below 50 for a 47 at 2.5, that a 216 drop in 2.5 hours, but not enough to pass Tess's 225 in 2 hour record.
    •Tess seemed to be taking a break then raced down to 51 at +5, ignoring her usual early nadir

    •So as it stands now, folks. Tess is leadin for total drop of 310, but Gracie is holding on to the lowest score w/ her 47.

    •Current Champion Mannie is standing back watching, evaluating the competition until he steps up in round 2 ETA: later this evening!

Roni...these girls definitely keep us on our toes. And I am DEFINITELY having a spa day when DH gets home!

55 @ +4.5...gave her more Cowboy Cookout with 9% gravy...this is really holding her steady.

Tessie....I found dis for us...Binks should have brought us dis for Halloween! Moonie...of course you can comes...we'll order one more costume...tinks your mamabean will mind?

ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile I just had this epiphany!!! Something Libby said to me the other day clicked in my brain and I went back and looked at Gracie's SS. Now...this may be a no brainer to all of you but I hadn't noticed it before...truly can't see the forest for the trees. But frequently when Gracie has had a huge +1/+2 drop, it's been when I've shot a dropping number....granted my dropping PS numbers have been high and I was told early on it was ok to shoot a high dropping number. But very often when I have done that....esp in the a.m. cycle...down she goes fast. I can't believe I didn't see this before . I told Mike that when I do that, then we have to feed her a higher carb food from the get go--like a 5%.

Good observation. I'll have to be better about getting up early to get +11s to see if that will work for Tess. I mean come on, she was 361 this morning. ohmygod_smile I admit to turning the +11 alarm off. :oops: She was pink last night and higher pink this morning, so much for the extra half hour of sleep.

Hmmm...maybe Tess isn't affected the same way. It's not that I'm getting up early enough to get +11 but if she's pink when I go to bed and yellow when I get up then she's been dropping....could be that 2nd lantus dip and not feeding the +9 snack anymore.

However...she has now decided to start bouncing back up....that was short lived!

Last I heard Mannie had them all loaded in the roadster, headed to Ohio. Muffin texted Mannie that all was prepped, and she expected a grand party. What a life!

Hey guys! Gracie? Maybe just try for the yellow? You may still get it - it's early on...

NI NI! I am done... DH is still on his way home- into hour #7, and only 2/3 of the way home. what a mess it is up here - still, even at 11PM. Freeway still clog with people trying to make it home. Nothing but Ice everywhere.... unreal! I hope ann's John has a safe journey home from the tundra, aka the PNW.

Very nice day for Gracie, despite the pinks tonight.
