11/22 Chloe 281 AMPS

She started out fine. Her AMPS was 119. I was in the shower when she did and could smell it immediatelly upon opening the door. Maybe because I didn't take my midday nap with her? I'm putting together a new cat tree that I got from Chewy's yesterday. I'm regretting this already. It takes up a lot of room, but I was tired of seeing Chico and Cheddar fighting over the one top platform.

I knew some people who bred Siamese cats and the mother cat used to poop on the pillow of any family member that had done anything to put her nose out of joint
That's what I figured. It's behavioral. The poops are solid and dark brown. It's just hard to figure out why she's angry. The only thing that's different is that yesterday and today, I didn't take a nap with her.

Well that's crappy... ( I had to say it).
You may have to start putting your pillow up out of reach, or a big towel over where you lay, or taking her in the bathroom with you.
Ahh, kittehs. :blackeye:
It's actually easier with a poo than a pee. If I'm careful, I can scoop it up with a paper towel, but today's was a bit too mushy. It was time to change the sheets anyway and I always have a spare pillow. I've tried all kinds of things like plastic shower curtains and towels underneath the sheet. The mattress is beyond repair. It's 20 years old, but I won't get a new one until Chloe dies.

Can you put it on your spreadsheet? I was looking for the mid-cycle value that might have aligned with the poop incident (you mentioned afternoon nap so I assume the poop was a number of hours after AMPS) but didn’t see it.
I did put it on the spreadsheet, but apparently, most of you can't see it or the comments where I put the times. Some people can see it and some can't. Maybe I should ask tech. Anyway, I don't think it has anything to do with her blood glucose. See what Vyktor's Mum wrote above. There's also a spot right next to a litter box where she pees if the box isn't cleaned out. I'm not sure if that's deliberate or the box is too small. Chico is about twice her size and he always manages to keep it in the box. Someone suggested a big plastic container and cut a hole so she can step in without jumping.

I have a HUGE tote I bought at Walmart for I think $22, 20x36 inches, and I cut a cat-sized square notch in a long side, high up enough that I can have a good amount of litter on the bottpm but the cats can still walk into. I have one boy (neutered) who pees standing up so the xtra high sides keep it in the box and not on the wall.

Hi Roberta I'm wondering if shes seeing "someone" in her yard shes not happy with? Dose she have access to a window in near the back or front yard?
