Sorry for not writing anything these days...we are in covid stage, unfortunately Chanel was most probably infected by me. I have contracted a variant with huge viral load, the sample line appeared after only 15 seconds and was the darkest purple possible.
Chanel was struggling to breathe, so last night I had to give her a shot of dexa.

@Jackie and Biggie Thank you so much for the info about the food. I definitely agree with you and I would have gone with the insulin up to the sky to make sure she can eat that c/d food and get rid of the crystals. Unfortunately, Chanel refuses it and since she has diarrhea for almost a month now, the doctor recommended we should not give her that food to make things worse for her tummy.
I tried everything: S. boulardii, the provita thingie recommended on fdmb, probiotics....nothing works to stop her diarrhea. And the most idiotic thing is that she eats the same food as always, except I try to give her more water to make sure she dissolves the crystals.

Have you tried Slippery Elm for the diarrhea? It works well for diarrhea, constipation as well as just upset tummy

no, I did not. How do you use it?
Sorry, just short messages, since I got sick with Covid, I am in pain and my lipoma (at the neck) gives me even more pain.

The stuff I use is a powder that comes in a tub, it is pet specific but I don't think that is necessary just happened to be what I bought. I mix it with warm water until it is kind of a thick slime or slurry, almost like fresh aloe would be. I add it to his meals and he does not seem to notice, I usually do half in the AM and half in the PM. You have to be sure to not give it at the same time or within 2 hours of any medication that is given by mouth as it can interfere. I used it for my boy for constipation when we switched to raw and it really helped with the transition, now we just keep if for first aid.
