So, this morning, we may not have had that much blood but it beeped and said 48, so we took it (it was 6:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning). It was probably actually a bit higher than that. I served up a wonderful Wellness turkey breakfast and then all the kitties and I went back to bed and just now got up!

ONE MORE DAY, Sue!!!! You can do it!!!!!!!

Good Morning Guys,

Wanted to say hello, howdy, good morning. Esmeralda is on day 1, OTJ Trial, wasnt sure what to expect this morning, held my breath testing, and wondered if 93 was to high? Then I saw your 'condo" took a peep at Sue's SS, what a relief to find we are in range tooooo.

One more day, this is truely awsome, and looking forward to tomorrow, you guys have a great sunday, and you guys are an inspiration to Esmeralda and myself.

Hugs w/catnip

For those of you who have cats with icky mouths, how often do you have dentals done?

I asked the same question recently, about dentals, and naturally the answer was ECID.
My Shadoe had her first dental ever, in March. Her teeth were not bad at all and she had only one extraction. Her teeth are still looking pretty good and I was advised that a bit of yellowing is not an issue.
My Oliver on the other hand, supposedly had his teeth done just before I adopted him in March, had dentals before with his prev owners, and his teeth do NOT look good, plus one needs to go according to jojo.

It all depends, but I do know that fixing up the teeth improves kitty having good BG.
Shadoe's dose and numbers dropped like a stone after her dental, so at least temporarily, it helped her.
Every time I take them into the vet, I ask the vets to do a visual check and let me know if it's time.
Some people have to get the teeth done a couple times a year. Others, not so often.
Best thing to do is have your vet take a look and let you know, or arrange for a cleaning and then see how long it takes to get icky again.
