Yesterday was the beginning of the the window replacement project at our house. In spite of the noise, Neko had a decent mostly blue day followed by a slow yellow start to the evening. After I went to bed, Neko decided to party. I have no other explanation for that AMPS - just where did you get to last night young lady? :lol: I guess she did a Zener slide.

So the windows guys are back again. I had the kitties all settled in the rec room again, then DH said the guys were going to start on cutting the stucco first. As that is downstairs, very noisy and includes two rec room windows, the plan was to move the cats to the upstairs guest bedroom (window already replaced). It's their natural hidey spot when scary things happen. So I moved everything and cats back upstairs. So of course the guys started upstairs instead with replacing the sliding glass door which is close to the room we are in. Sigh! Theo is pretty relaxed, Neko is under the bed. But with that AMPS, I'm going to have to haul her out in a bit. I won't be waiting for my normal +4 to test.

@Serryn - thanks for visiting last night! I love your description of Neko as being "steadyish". That's great way to describe a bouncy cat.

Rupert is surfing up in the pinks today it seems, glad to see Neko exploring other colour schemes! We are forecast yet ANOTHER wind and rain (and even thunder!) storm tonight. it simply POURED for about three hours straight last night (3am I was awake listening to it!). You'd think I'd be used to it, but never ceases to amaze me just how much rain we get in the winter! Hope you are having nicer weather over the other side there!

Ugh! Neko must have done lower last night. Now she gets a pokie break until the PM.

The window guys just have two more windows to cut and place in. It hasn't been too noisy today, although Neko is currently under the bed. I did catch her letting Theo lick her face! Major step forward in Neko-Theo relationships! Ten seconds later, Theo attacked her. ohmygod_smile He wanted to play, she didn't. :lol:

@Pip - Neko has come up to the pink floor to look for Rupert. Silly girl! I didn't hear the rain last night, but I could have slept through it. Just remember, November is the worst month and once it over, it does get better. I read somewhere that we get as much rain in November as the rest of the months combined.

I hope the kitties made it through the 2nd day of the window project without too much stress. Hopefully Neko will come back down soon.

Looks like my baby cat managed to start easing down from the bounce. Almost the same PMPS as last night. The SS has blue AM and yellow PM for the last few days. Definitely an improvement.

@Carla - The kitties were tired after day two. They don't get much sleep and they miss their beauty rest! And they wanted OUT of the room. Tomorrow is the last day. Neko did turn it around at the end of day, so not bad after all.

It does look like a Zener slide last night. How about another one, Neko? That will be good to have the windows done. Can you tell a difference with the house feeling warmer?

@Liz - If Neko does the slide again, I'll feel compelled to get up at 4AM to test her! The house definitely feels warmer, especially around the sliding glass doors and our large 8x4 foot front window. They used to suck the heat right out of the living room.

That's nice you can tell a difference. I bet a new patio door would make a big difference here too. Neko, how about a very gentle slide? Always hopeful. :-D

Looks like a rather rapid decent tonight. I guess I'll be getting up in a couple of hours.

@Liz - Neko missed the memo about a GENTLE slide tonight. She opted for the black diamond runs instead.

Just thought I'd do another test 20 minutes later and go to bed. 71. Rats, HC and the PJ party continues.
