I so hope you guys like triple everything.... Thanks too to Rusty, who let us hangout on his radiators yesterday! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! Woo HOO! it is Thursday. I hope everyone had a good one yesterday. Ours was alot of fun! it was a pool day for Nicholas. The other grandparents watched William while Nicholas and I swam.Thank you Pat! I continue to love our mornings here. The boys play when they first get here. Breffis is a must, and Nicholas continues to have one of the best ones ever. He is still into is berries, with waffles and bacon, and butter on the waffles, lots of butter! Major good as Nicholas would say, and that just does not change, week after week.   I still tease him and tell him that William so wants some waffles too. And bacon! The response is the same everyday he comes here. NO WAFFLES FOR WILLIAM!, and then he hands him his bottle of moo. Though he did come up with a great solution! We should add bacon to his moo!   You gotta love Mornings with Nicholas and William. This is what I wrote last night about our day yesterday: "Hi everyone! happy HUMP DAY night! WOOT on that one, the week is more than half over. I hope your day was a good one. We truly had the best one possible today. The weather was gorgeous! A sunny day, not one cloud, but COLD. I think we topped out at 39. We are 36 right now, and falling. they predict 29 tonight. wow: we do be cold. We did swim in the morning, and then off to the Beach Park in the afternoon,. it was just too nice out not too. Pool was really fun, he had such a good time. I just love it when he gets out of the car, and runs to the front door. The ENERGIZER fish just can't wait to get into the pool. How fun! It was pretty much the normal stuff we do today, but he really wnated to do alot of underwater stuff, and swim the beach area. It is a hoot when he does that, big arms and all. The water is only a foot and a half deep in that section, so I think he has some confidence with that, and can swim the entire length, and get his breaths easily. It is really fun to watch! SWIMMING continues to rule the roost here. Anyways - great pool stuff. We did just under two hours. William stayed with the other grandma, went to visit all her friends. We did Juanita Beach Park in the afternoon, as there as no way the Nicholas was going to nap, and William was wide awake too, and the sun was out... so why not? A couple hours there, with clear blue skies, and butt freezing temps, well cold at 38, a little wind. It sure was gorgeous though.Wearing a coat has always been an issue with Nicholas. He says he doesn't need one, but today he didn't give me an argument when I told him he had to wear a coat. He knew it was cold. 15 minutes into it he asks to go back to the car and get his hat and mittens. wow on that. It was a fairly normal stay there, swings and slides, and beach time with the ducks. As cold as it was he still had to go out into the water, play some, toss a few rocks, play with a few sticks. He really loves the water. Once again we get back to the car with soaked pants. Thank goodness for boots that kept his feet dry. ;-) What a fun day for all of us."

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   This morning things are very normal, very quiet... hmmmmmmmmmmm...... Elsa has camped out on her spot on the sofa, Bug is in Mannie's bed, and Lola is on my lap. Supreme bliss rules here this morning. I so wish it would stay that way.... ;-) It was a gorgeous weather day here yesterday, but even with all that sun it remained very cold. The kitties spent what time I did see them, alternating between those sunbeams and their fleece beds. I see those rays of sunshine and cannot help but think of Mannie. He so loved the sun, and would seek out eh tiniest rays of sun that filtered into the house. Yesterday on our way to the house after I picked the boys up Nicholas was talking about the sun, and the kitties. He so wanted to find them in the sunbeams. How fun that he would even think of that. He especially wanted to see Mannie in those sunbeams. He talked a long time about Mannie, and the sun: how he wanted to go outside and play with him. It was really very touching. :-D The kitties all behaved the selves. even Lola. I thinks he's saving it all up for Christmas... hmmmm... Normalcy in MusketeerVille?

Have a great day everyone. It is another Nicholas and William day today. I hope to take the boys up to a river today, Nicholas asked for one yesterday. The weather is really nice, very sunny, no rains, and not one cloud. it is however, rather cold out there. 28 this AM, and not expected to be much above 38 on the rivers. The one we will go to is especially pretty this time of year. So if we bundle warm enough and I can convince Nicholas that coats are really good, we shall spend some time there today. we shall see on this one. part of me says stay in until it warms, then go local. WOOT! I will try and get to condos when I can. I am sorry I missed so many of you yesterday. it is so tough to find any time on days when I have the boys... I do hoe all is well with all of you.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Good chilly morning to ya Michelle ~O)
Makes me appreciate that I'm in Florida! I'll send ya some 80 degree weather ;-)
Oh just the thought of Lola and the Christmas Tree nailbite_smile  Good luck with that
Enjoy your day with the boys :-D

Morning Pam ~O) ~O) ~O) oh yes, please! Send that 80 degree weather! This is way too BRRRRR!, but also makes me appreciate those that have it in the teens today. THX on the boys - it will be fun, no matter what we do. well yes on Lola - i am so expecting the worse... maybe she will surprise us all and leave it alone. on. sure.

Hi, Michelle! First of all, BRRRRRR!!! Bundling up sounds like a great idea today (after waffles and butter, of course ;-) ).
I love how each kitty has his/her own resting spot (and Bug on Mannie's bed ~ **happy sigh**).
Another happy sigh: Mannie and his sunbeams, and Nicholas remembering. He will always remember.
I wonder how Lola will decorate undecorate the christmas tree... ;-)

Enjoy your day today!

Morning Michelle, ~O) ~O) looks like a nice fun filled day yesterday for you and the boys. Neat pics of the swimming, breffifs, and the park. I can't wait til the day William gets to share with the waffles. :-D Every time i see pics of Nicholas's breffifs, i get hungry for bacon. Oh my, 28 degrees is sure chilly. We have rain here today and all week. I'm waiting for a little break so I can take a short walk, and then a Katie fuds trip to Petco.
Elsa, I can't wait for some triple shot Breves today and 10 Hour Energy coffee, too. Looking forward to the cronuts, too. Watch out for those neighbors as they are spoiled by you, love ya, Auntie Ann
Neat with the sunbeams and remembrances of Mannie. I remember he used to always love those sunbeams. Oh boy, I bet Lola is saving up her energy for some other kitty antics. Does Bug romp around with her?
Have a great day with the boys and glad for no rain today. Hugs and scritches from us.

Good Morning, Michelle,
Your swimming and adventure yesterday sounded great. I'm glad that Nicholas decided to put on his hat & mitts! It is neat that he has such vivid memories of Mannie in the sunbeams, Mannie in his garden, Mannie at breakfast. Mannie is certainly watching over his little buddy.

Have another fine day today. It is cold here, too, but the sun is rapidly disappearing into the clouds. Snow and rain tomorrow. Good thing we had such a gorgeous day yesterday.

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

p.s. to Elsa. Thank you, Kitteh Barista for the delicious ~O) . Rusty is heading out to meet you at the tree house. He'd like you to show the kitties the salmon run at the river.

That's so neat Nicholas remembered Mannie loved sunbeams. I hope you can find something fun to do today and stay warm.

Good Evening everyone. I hope your day has been a good one. We did OK here, had a good time, even with all out "cold" well.... for us, 30 is COLD! ;-) i doubt it made it out of the 30's. last I checked our high here at the house was 35. wow. and more to continue tonight through tomorrow. On the plus side it was gorgeous out there - sun everywhere, with an awesome sunrise, awesome sunset. in a way it was a shame not to really make it outdoors today, but it was just too cold for the littlest guy. so. indoor places today, as much as that pained me. One knows it is frozen outside when the little guys asks for a coat.   Nicholas picked the aquarium today. lordie be... we are becoming regulars there now, weekly regulars. But that's OK. I view the place as being an indoor version of the outdoors. sorta. He loves the place and is learning there too. Today at one of the tidal tanks he spent sometime with one of the workers there , it was just him and her at this area of tide pools, learning what was in the tanks. She'd show him a photo, ask him to find the animal, which he did, and then she'd tell him about it. It was kinda cool. He wanted to stay and learn. What was kinda fun was that he remembered last weeks lesson on anemones, where their "mouth" and "teeth" are, and today he showed me. You can actually see these things whet they are suck to the side of a glass wall. Really cool stuff! Today was alot of time spent with the fish and the tidal stuff, and the octopus. He loves those octopus. They were very active today. That too is fascinating to watch. William is fun there too - even at 5 months he watches all he sees there - and seems drawn to the really big fish tanks. Probably the bright colors, but no matter, it's just nice that he is looking. well anyways, another fun day with the sea-life. it is such a great place to go. We took Erin out to lunch after that. always fun there too. I had hoped to hit the park in the afternoon, but issues with William, bottles and diapers at lunch delayed us enough that there just wasn't time to get out to the park. I had to stop at home to replenish, as William went through alot more diapers and food that any of us anticipated.  oh well, no biggie, we will go tomorrow. I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Carla, I thought so too on Nicholas remembering Mannie and that he loved sunbeams. He has been talking about Mannie a lot this week. It's kind of nice that he really truly does remember his best buddy. Thanks on today. We did find some cool things to do, ended up with the aquarium and then took my daughter out to lunch. Always excellent choices. It sure beats being freezing cold outside. We had a great time, thanks.

Hi Ella, thanks are swimming in and adventure yesterday was a lot of fun. Me too on the hat and mittens! It was so cold and I was so glad that I didn't have to fight with him over it. I think so too on Mannie: it is just wonderful that he has such vivid memories of Mannie, especially in the Sun beams and his garden. Its funny, he really truly does remember Mannie at breakfast, Mannie and his manners, Mannie in every aspect of his life. I think you're right when you say that Mannie is watching over his little buddy. More than true! Thanks on today. We had a great time, went to the aquarium again. We seem to be becoming regulars there. But that's okay. In my book it's a wonderful place to go with children. They learned so much there. Wow on your weather, snow and rain? I agree when you say it's a good thing you had a gorgeous day yesterday.
Auntie Ella! You are more than welcome! I am so glad that you like my coffee. I am elated that Rusty is coming to hang out in the tree house today. That is excellent! I am so happy to take all the kitties down and show them the salmon run at the river. We have so many fish year this year, it is excellent! I will be waiting for everyone in the tree house. Elsa, Lil BIT, Kitteh barista.

Hi Ann, yes, yesterday was a fun filled day for me and the boys. I'm glad you like the pics. I agree! I keep telling Nicholas that one day he will have to share waffles with his brother William. He just looks at me with that look it says NO Grammie! William only gets some milk. I know on the bacon! I love it too. Makes me hungry every time he eats that stuff. Thanks to on the sunbeams and remembrances of Mannie. I'm just very pleased that Nicholas can still remember him. And the special things he remembers. And yes on Bug and Lola. Lola will get Bug going every time. Sometimes Bug will start the run but most of the time its Lola. They will run each other crazy around the house, it is just non stop. Kind of fun!
Auntie Ann, you are more than welcome I will bring several triple shot breves today and lots of 10 hour energy coffee. I know on your neighbors! They are so funny. I don't mind bringing them lots of coffee and lots of goodies. They give me lots of scritches!! See you soon, Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Hi Josie yep! It is cold here! And yes on the bundling up. We ended up just being indoors today. Somehow 28 to 32 degrees just wanted to ideal especially for the little William. It's hard to keep kids warm when its that cold. So we went to the aquarium, my equivalent to being outdoors. Plus the boys just love it there. I know two on the happy side of Mannie and those Sun beams it's just wonderful I think that Nicholas remembers all of this. I think you're right he always will remember. And too funny on Lola and undecorating the Christmas tree. I think you hit the nail on the head there. This is going to be one very fun filled Christmas.
