TGIF Lantus Land!! Ready for the weekend?

Guess it's going to be a pokey break kind of day today!

China's ear is getting a little sore looking, so I'm kind of glad she's staying high enough today that I don't feel like I have to poke her every hour on the hour. Slathered her ear up good with Neosporin at +6 and will give it a rest until PMPS time

It's a miserable day ... Cold, rainy and breezy (although Tricia would probably love it...LOL) Tomorrow's supposed to be much warmer (upper 50's) but it's supposed to be raining all day, so not much fun getting out. Worry about DM getting isolated, but I know she goes down the hall to the Nutrition site for lunch Mon-Fri and has a couple of ladies that live in her building come to her apartment every day to play cards, so that takes a little of the pressure off of me thinking if I'm not there every day, she's alone. I swear I think it's easier to parent a houseful of kids than it is to parent one parent!

Could be a lot worse I guess...we could live in Buffalo, NY! I don't know how those people are coping with what they're dealing with! 7+ feet of snow in 2 days...Wow...just wow!

Have a nice evening everyone! Hoping to have a quiet one with China tonight, but as we all know, she's dancing to her own drummer when it comes to the sugardance!

I hope you can enjoy the pokey break today. It's nice that your DM has some friends in her building.

Looks like Max, Polly and China are all playing together out in the deeper water

Guess they can't hear us calling them in! (or they're just plain ignoring us....LOL)

Now China baby...it's time to come up some so mamabean can get some sleep!

China, surfing is good, but surf in a little closer to shore. C'mon little girl, up, up, up. A bit.

I'm just waiting out Polly's food effect for another hour. Hope you find some sleep time tonight, too.

If Max is following China I still have to be up for another 2 hours. Maybe he will swim a little faster. Hopefully you are fast asleep by now.
 
You're right, Chris. I would love that weather - although more if I got to stay inside the whole time. Having to get out and about in it isn't as much fun! :lol: We've been having cold,wet weather, too, and I have been enjoying it.

Holy cow, China! That was an awesome surf. Next time you might want to try doing that just a little higher, though. Easier on the bean. So now it's time to head for shore. Cinco has been listening to all the fun you and Max and Polly were having and wishes he could join in. Maybe tomorrow. DURING THE DAY, PLEASE!!! I birthday party to go to in the evening - mine!

Sorry you can't get to your DM and take her out, Chris, but it does sound like she's got some entertainment and friends to keep her occupied. I'm sure she's doing just fine.
