Happy Sunday Morning! Sending our prayers to Jill and Mike and hope he is doing better and will have a very successful surgery and recovery. Also to Rocket and Comet, Tarragon and Charlie, Attie, Tawny, Frankie, Simon, and any others who need them today. Tobey and Gracie are ready to do KTSS!!!

Finally our green/blue girl is back. :-D :-D :-D I think she just got too many dose reductions too quickly although we tried to hold her as long as we could but she was determined. I'm trying to run her a little higher with 10% food so she doesn't come back down the dosing scale too quickly again although I really doubt she'll be at this dose for long. Lots of snuggly purrs this morning and she slept all curled up with me last night despite the tests. At 5:30 this morning, Gus decided he was hungry. He has his own toothbrush that we have in a plastic holder on the floor for since he can't get up on anything and he went to town on that thing and ended up tossing it across the bathroom :lol: :lol: But, it startled Gracie out of a deep sleep so she hopped up from our cuddle and slept on the pillow for the next hour.

I felt so much better yesterday and today seems to be not as good. Throat is sore again :evil: :roll: :roll: :YMSIGH: :YMSIGH: I don't have much to do other than continue working on DM's papers so will try to get some rest in between that and pokeys. Mike bought me some Dayquil the other day so think I'll swig some of that.

Oh...finally downloaded camera...here is our gate guard Mr. Rattlesnake who has finally decided to hibernate :-D

Nice to see Gracie in the blues and greens where she belongs. I'm sorry you're not feeling as well today. Could it have anything to do with no getting a good night's sleep? ;-) Gus was a wild man this morning! You gotta love that. Hope you can get some rest today. Happy hibernating, Mr. Rattlesnake.

Marje, I sure hope you feel better soon. Sore throats are always terrible.

Glad to see Miss Gracie in the greens!

What a scary snake. I have a huge phobia to snakes so I'm not sure what I would do if I saw that in my yard!

Thank you all for posting today. Gracie decided to come back down; I am thrilled. I was certain that the 158 was not a food spike since the last time I fed her 8% was +4 and it was just a dab; normally if she is that low at +4, she really sinks between +6 and +7 but she went up. Thus...I didn't check her between +6.5 and +10 so she decided to have a blue surf. Good baby!!!

Took some dayquil and a long nap and worked on some of DM's papers. It's gonna take me forever to get through all this stuff!!! I can barely read her handwriting on notes she's made. Trying to figure out her investments so I can explain them to her and her agent can put her income and expenditures in a model to see whether she can move into the big apartments in assisted living or the smaller ones or whether she just wants to stay where she is and have her aide continue to come every day AND when does her long-term care insurance kick in. Trying to figure out also if she really needs all the health insurance she has; I think there is one policy she can drop to save some bucks. I'll get there!

Time for the evening routine. BBL.

Hi Marje, what a beautiful cycle today for Miss Gracie. Yikes on the Guard Gate Mr. Rattlesnake! He looks pretty comfy there at your gate. It sounds like you have a lot going on there in working everything out for DM. I'm sure she really appreciates all your help and is lucky to have your help in making the best arrangements. I hope the Dayquil helps your cold and feel better soon.

Hmmm....odd that she went up from +10 to PMPS; she usually comes down but at least she's still blue. Hold that thought, little girl, or come on back down nice and easy!!

Ann: yeah...he was a little TOO comfy! And yes...lots of paperwork. She just hasn't been able to keep up lately.

Ann: I definitely do. I have enough keeping up with OUR stuff much less her's too!!

Lovely cycle for Miss Gracie!! So sorry you're still battling the cold! Yoga and running did a number on me yesterday... my cold symptoms aren't terrible... I'm just SORE!! :lol: :lol: :lol: Hopefully, Miss Gracie will have a nice, gentle glide tonight and give you some rest!!

Miss Gwacie? Dis is Miss Herbie. Can u tell dat cute brudder of yours dat he haz nuttin to worry bout... Willie is just mah big brudder!! had so much fun wif eberybuddy in NYC! Hopefully, mah bean will let me come out an' play again soon!
