[Butters & Lyla]

Yesterday overnight Butters just squeaked in below 200. This morning she went up 200pts in two hours. No wonder she is so cranky. Maybe yesterday was a practice bounce and today she is going for the gold medal on the trampoline. Her numbers continue to be all over the place. May she someday be regulated again.

She was wandering around for half the night and seemed uncomfortable. I have calculated that I have enough bupe to give her a little more than I have been, so I upped that. I may also go back to q8 on the gabapentin if she doesn't seem more comfortable today.

Vet interview went well overall. He is a co-owner of the animal hospital and it has ten vets. They all consult with one another and with vets outside of the practice. He said unprompted that he would be my partner in Butters' care and not force his will on me. 60% of his patients are cats and he takes on complex cases of cats with a combo of DM/pancreatitis/Triaditis/GI issues. And it sounds like he takes pain management seriously. I'm keeping the appointment for next week, and we will see how that goes. Thanks @Tomlin for searching for me and suggesting I check him out.

Oh how I wish that he will get her back on track and he will give you the pain meds

Thanks for all the comments. I am allowing myself to feel the tiniest bit of hope that he might work out.

Butters is 304 @+3. That concern aside, I upped her gabapentin to q8 and I gave her .1mL instead of .07mL of bupe today. She finally seems like she is more settled and comfortable now. So at least there's this small win.
