Good morning, Clyde has decided there are too many interesting things in the room to hold still to have his BG checked and Max and him are learning how to share my bed again...for now :smile:

Clyde was a little higher this morning then the rest of the week, but I think it's probably due to starting to transition him for standard time with the slightly later shots. He was 15 min later this morning and plan on increasing his time by 15 min a shot until I have the hour I need.

At +2 he's at 52. Looks like it will be an interesting day. :-D The vet wanted me to call in on Monday with a curve so it looks like Clyde will definitely be getting plenty of tests today. :smile:

I had planned on testing at +3 but he decided to play a rousing game of hide and seek with me :-D so it was between +3.5 and +3.75 I managed to do the check and he was at 45.

I am going to check at +4. Max, the civilian, seems to know he's going to eat well tonight with the leftovers. :smile:

At +4 he's back up to 57 without feeding any food.

I have a note to myself to check at +3, +3.5, & +4 during the pm cycle.

Should I look at a reduction for the PM cycle since he hit 45 during the AM cycle?

I'd really encourage you to give Clyde some food when you see numbers in the 40s. There's no margin for safety when numbers are going low. He could have just as easily dropped into the 20s as gone up into the 50s within the 30 min. between tests. Based on the drop into the 40s, Clyde gets a dose reduction. His new dose is 0.5u.

Clyde has liked to play hide and seek today. He decided to disappear after his +3.5ish test and by the time I found him it was his time for his +4 check. I'm due to check him again in 10min or so and I'm keeping him in my sites right now. He's laying next to me taking a nap.

At +10 he was at 54 and at +11 he was at 74

Now the long wait due to the time change tonight. Both of them are crying wanting dinner. :-D

Beautiful numbers today! Love all that green. Congrats on the new dose! I hope Clyde likes it. I too would encourage food when he hits the 40's. Even just a small amount of LC. Surf well today Clyde. :mrgreen:
