Well would you look at that. Missy Kitty is surfing green today. It's about time. To be honest I was getting kind of tired of the mellow yellows. Tori really looks better in blue and green. It matches her beautiful green eyes so much better. Hopefully we're going into a long run of this but knowing Tori anything is possible.
Strange when I was updating our spreadsheet a few minutes ago I noticed that it was 2 years ago today that we started on Lantus. I remember how disappointed I felt. Tori had been so sick the previous month and we almost lost her. SHe had had to go back on insulin after over 2 years OTJ. I was hoping for a quick trip back to the Falls but the Canninsulin which she was on before just wasn't cutting it so I decided to try the Lantus. It was a very good decision. The support we have gotten here has been fantastic and I have learned so much. I have come to accept that Tori will probably never go OTJ again. It would be a real miracle if she does. But you know that has become a minor consideration in the grand scheme of things. I am just so happy and grateful that she is here with me and despite everything she has encountered on this journey she is doing so well. Every day is such a wonderful gift.
WCR- She's had a good day. She's eating well and has been giving Socrates the appropriate amount of love and attention. Now she's cuddling with Ayanna as they both try to keep warm. I hate ALberta winters.
Have a good night everybody. Congratulations to Savannah and her MOm. What a wonderful accomplishment going OTJ after 4 years. Amazing. Tori is heading off to her party right now. Party on Kitties!!!!
