Yikes!! Scary...I am home today, still tethered to the house by whatever happened to my stomach on Wednesday/Thursday. This is where I am at a loss. Guidelines say don't shoot but nadirs are at +6 to +8 or at end of cycle. She had 4 snacks last night, ate most of them, left a little of first snack at PM+2 (still had some dinner left over). Last snack rotated out about 4 hours before AMPS. If I had held breakfast more than 15 minutes, would she have gone lower, almost guaranteeing a bounce? I'm not grasping the whole concept, evidently, as it seems that it can be viewed from different angles. Mostly, it just keeps me cofused. She ate most of her breakfast right away, and I shot her about half-way through. Ugh.

Excellent! If you can find a way to give her a meal around +6 at night, you might be able to slow her down. Without food she keeps dropping till the end of the cycle. And she might continue to drop when stalling without food.

BTW please take off the ?? and ADVICE from the title. Thanks :-)

Okay, Heidi, breathe...I tested at +1.5. The first test I did was a tiny bit of blood and it said 70. PANIC. However, knowing that it can sometimes give a wrong reading if the sample is too tiny, I did it again on the other ear. 201. Now, because of the 108 earlier, I'm sure I will be watching a big bounce all day.

Just to make me crazy(er)...+4, left ear, 158...right ear, 189...
Hmmm...just a thought. Millie was dealing with her annual cold weather herpes sneeziing/runny eye outbreak last week and I was questioning if that could cause her numbers to go up, as she had a good day or two, then seemed to go up across the board. Her sneezing seems to have subsided, for the most part. I wonder if that is connected to these lower numbers. I am continuing to try to make sense of something that I am about to conclude is part science, part magic and part voodoo.

Okay, she's almost finished dinner and had some of a snack at PMPS+2. She's down from PMPS, so I have loaded her +6 snack compartment with a full Sheba and some freeze-dried chicken liver. The other 3 snacks are her normal small size. Hopefully, this will level her out so I don't have to panic when she hits her nadir right before or at AMPS. She's such a good girl about all of this that I'd love to get to a point of stability so she doesn't have to put up with me so much. We shall see.
