Yesterday overnight Butters decided to catch up with her old friends, including Jax and Jazzy, in the lagoon. It has been a while since she visited; I'm surprised she remembered how to get there.

She is starting the day passed out by her plate with a gravy hangover (photo attached) and numbers back in the 300s.:facepalm: I am start the day with a truckload of :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee:.

I have the video interview with the new vet tonight. I have a long list of questions to ask and probably won't get enough time to ask them all.

Meme just like butter, her BG is going up and down but sometimes she has a sudden drop just like today which does not make me comfortable at least while she is recovering, really do not know whay she dropping sometimes from very high to very low :(:(:(
 
Butters, you're too cute :) Jazzy told me he really enjoyed your visit to the lagoon and he's wanting you to go back there today. :D Maybe that will be the incentive both him and Jax need to stay there :p

Wow, lagoon time. She is starting to feel better. Keep up the good work. Butters will tell you what she needs. Just have to listen to her. Hope new virtual vet visit goes well. Be interesting to hear what they think.

I saw that on your spreadsheet. :bighug: It is scary. I wish I could give you some good advice but I don't have much experience with the combo of pancreatitis/diabetes myself and how it can impact numbers differently. I would say maybe you want to test at +2 instead of +3 because it seems you are catching her scary lows always at +3. Maybe you can catch her at a higher number at +2 and then steer her with some higher carb food. Just a thought. :bighug:

I know the lower numbers are a good sign but I still think she is feeling off...I noticed this ever since I tried to reduce the bupe earlier this week.
She was 371 @+5...and I don't know whether the high numbers today are a bounce, or due to pain and/or inflammation. I don't think there is a way to know for sure. I wonder if I'll ever get her regulated again. Okay, sounds like it is time for the patience pants.
 
Well done Butters! Hopefully Mo can meet you all in the Lagoon sometime soon! Hopefully she is just bouncing. That is the lowest she been for a week and a half so I wouldn't be surprised if it is.
