11/19 Atlas AMps 78, PMps 364

I'm not sure that 78 is a true pre-shot. I tried getting another reading this morning, but his little cold ears would not bleed enough to get a retest. It took two drops of blood to get the 78! So we'll try again here in a little bit. Generally with the RElion meter you can add blood to the test strip for 5 seconds.

Two days on Nature's Variety Instinct Raw Rabbit and a bit of Fortiflora...

Well, it will be interesting to see how his healing intestines affect the BG.

All kinds of crazy hopes and thoughts at this point.

Maybe some experienced folks can give me some tips of what happens when the inflammation really goes away? I am really kind of excited to think we're maybe finally on the last leg or this healing journey....

I had to laugh about the timed feeder...he really sat and waited for it to open? You have created a monster~ Hope you have continued success Blue! :mrgreen: Great numbers Atlas!!

Pat, you have no idea how horrible his liquid ewww has been. I mean it could clear the whole house! It was to the point when he would do #2, I was there with the pet baking soda to sprinkle on top! Nasty, nasty. I was wondering how we would survive the winter with such eww? I might be able to have company for the Holidays without embarrassing odor!

His new vet wanted to put him on Royal Canin Instestinal...26% carb!

Yes about the timed feeder. He sat there and waited for the 1:00 feeding. He already has it figured out. So instead of pestering me, he has already figured out it is the feeder he needs to convince. :lol: It is hysterical if he hears it rotate.

YAY for formed poo!! I just sort of caught up with the last couple days with Atlas....wow, that long with liquipoo....I can understand your excitement! Nice numbers this morning, too! :-D

That sounds about right. :roll:

We've seen numbers drop quite a bit when pain or infection are finally gone. It makes sense that normapoo could help too.
 
Ok...I caught that 55, 51 drop in route and did feed him.

Looks like we have a bounce up anyway. Although I am hoping it won't do a +500 tonight. ~O)

Now he didn't bounce at that 78 this morning. So if I keep him edgie at 70-75 we just might be able to avoid these bounces.


And yes Libby, I am wondering over the next week or so as his intestines get a chance to actually start to heal...he is going to keep me guessing his dose. It was clear the 2.25u wasn't nearly enough and again the 2.5u might be a bit much...so I am going to try a 2.5 Skinny. Although he was up in pinks last night, but came down overnight.

All I can do is see how it goes.

Have lots on my plate for work tomorrow and can't stay home with him if he drops out in the morning. I've got to pickup some Angel food Ministries boxes and meet a new client across town. If he drops out on me...I guess I could take him with me.
