Ouch (!!!) on the red, but YAY (!!) on the +2. Mr T looks like he means business this morning. I would think too that the high was stress related - they do so empathize with those around them that are hurting.

Hope Charlie feels better soon - poor guy. Many healing vines for him. Heal well and fast Charlie.

Poor Charlie! I know that's hard on Tarragon and you and DH. It will get better day by day. Good to see T coming down. Keep us updated. Thinking of you and your gang.

Poor (((Charlie))) I hope he feels better soon. Tarragon is worried about his buddy. I hope things go as smoothly as possible at your house today Melissa.

Hi Melissa, sending healing vines for Charlie. Tarragon is feeling his discomfort. I bet the first day is always so hard. That's quite a drop there for Tarragon; I wonder what's up with him. Hope Charlie's day gets better. Hugs.

Awww they are just best buddies aren't they? Tarragon must be stressed out because Charlie is hurting. Time to come down lil T. I hope Charlie is feeling better soon.

Morning T & M!! Looks to me like Tarragon is quite stressed by Charlie's pain & went stress related high--Then Insulin kicked in & down he came...You poor peeps, I wish I could help & take away Charlie's pain--
Did they give you pain meds??? God, I hope he feels better later-the first day after surgery is always the worst--Healing vines & prayers from Us--Lubs you all over there--HUGS!!!!!!!!!

Thank you all! Tarragon is flat yellow so it could be worse. He is hiding a lot today but I think Charlie's whimpering makes him stressed.

Charlie has a heavy duty morphine pain patch that will stay on for 3 days and is taking Rimadyl twice a day. They also injected adequan in both back knees before the repair. It is a very extensive surgery. They go in a essentially rebuild the ligament in the knee. This is the 3rd one we have been through with him. (Twice on the other knee.) He is actually on a lot more pain meds with this one than he was with the other two. I just got back inside with him. He wanted to sit in the sun for awhile.



Totally OT: The state of Oklahoma suffered a horrible tragedy last night and we are all grieving. The Oklahoma State women's head coach and assistant coach were killed in a small plane crash in Arkansas last night along with the pilot and a fourth person. Such a sad day and my prayers go out to all of the families and the OSU community.

Hey Charlie, feel better and better. Healing vines are on the way. You can wear them wrapped around your knee and they will work even better.

Charlie, poor guy. You will be back to chasing squirrels in no time. Just have to hang in there for a while. I know, "now" is everything to a drooler. Surfing yellow is good for today. You have enough to worry about.

I am so sorry about the plane crash. This is a terrible tragedy, very sad. We are both huge women's basketball fans and know all about the great job that Coach Budke has done at OSU.

Oh Lil T....you must come down from there even a little more!!!! Glad to see he is off the red floor today, Melissa.

You must be exhausted!!! Poor Charlie...I hope he enjoyed his time in the sun and I hope things will settle down a little so Tarragon is not so stressed.

I am so very sorry about the loss of the OSU folks....what a horrible tragedy. We will keep them and their families, OSU, and OK in our prayers.

Hoping Tarragon comes down from those yellows and does some surfing in blues today. It is amazing to me how stress can cause such high numbers. Poor baby, he sure is empathizing.

Very sad news about the coaches.

Poor Charlie! He is a handsome fellow (I am biased though, I have a black Lab too!) Hope he feels better soon, for his sake and for Tarragon!

Charlie is a beautiful dog. He looks like he's enjoying the sun, and it's good for him. Sending Charlie healing vines and scritches. What a tragedy and great loss with the Oklahoma State women's head coach and assistant coach.

CRAP! If I had the energy to dig a hole, I certainly would so I could crawl in it. Negative ketones thank goodness. Tarragon is still hanging out back in the bedroom with Turnup to avoid being run over by the three legged 90 pound zombie. Tomorrow is another day.

I think that's why he is so high--Poor Charlie--I feel so badly for him--Pray for his comfort & healing!
See, Turnup & T. know to leave Charlie alone--Like I said wherever I posted to you today, the first day after surgery is the worst--Hope so much that tomorrow is better--
Hope you feel OK! All this stress, and you just do it with gusto..You are a great lady!
