Until we can try adjusting the carb content of the meals, we are giving 2 doses of NJ at each meal. Yes, this means two injections at each meal which did not phase him this morning. We will see how this goes. As mentioned yesterday, I have a doctor's appointment 2.5 hours away tomorrow which means we'll be gone at least 6 hours, so we don't want to become more proactive until we can be home to monitor 24/7.

Thanks @Sue and Luci and @Chris & China (GA) for input on how to get LTs numbers down with some out of the box ideas. I also appreciate everyone who is encouraging us along the way.

We will see what happens with this 2 drop regimen.

We got a good drop at 3 hours today. I’m anxious to see where he’ll be at tonight’s PMPS.

Yes, we used 2 syringes in order to not contaminate the insulin. So this will be a bit costly if this works.

Soooo frustrating; his midday numbers looked so good and then we are in the lemon tree tonight. We are picking up new insulin tomorrow after my out of town doctor's appt., though I don't think that's the problem since he doesn't seem to be making any on his own. I just want to get him back into the green so his pancreas can rest.
