Good morning all,
Lou had a decent day yesterday, if you ignore the daytime numbers. It seemed to take a little bit for his appy to come back after throwing up yesterday morning, but it was back as usual by his +3 meal. His BGs went down really slowly last night and it seems possible his nadir is close to or around is AMPS. I'll take the beautiful green start, although I am expecting him to bounce again. His mouth has seemed a bit itchy the past few days, so I'm guessing he's still healing up. He's been rubbing his mouth against things much more often than he used to. I've noticed a bit of a red spot on his upper lip. I think he's been getting it caught on one of his few remaining teeth, poor baby. It looks irritated, but not like an infected sore. I'll keep my eye on it.

Nothing much on the docket today. Hoping to get some things done but we'll see, haha. I hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing Sunday and that your kitties surf safely. Sending vines to Mr. Jones (@Tracey&Jones) and Miss P (@Phoebes), and of course to anybody else in need. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Nice green start for Lou today:D

Hope the sore on his lip goes away and does not get infected.
Hope there is no bounce!

Hooray!! He hasn't had a surf like this for a while! It's not green, but I will take it! Lou didn't really let me look it his mouth, not enough to really see how things look. The sore on his lips doesn't really look much like a sore, more like pink skin without fur. Perhaps the rubbing against a canine has rubbed the hair away. Who knows?

Nice cycle so far.

Did Lou have a follow on checkup after his dental? Usually the vet will check about a week afterwards to make sure there is no infection and everything is healing nicely.

Unfortunately not, which I thought was weird. Apparently she's out of the office this upcoming week. I found that out after sending an email about switching to Levemir.
