Yesterday's thread

She seems to be doing pretty well on this dose, which I'm liking. She's definitely been keeping up on the "hey my blood sugar has dropped some, please wake up and feed me!" yowl. Which is very similar to her yowl for everything else, just timed differently. :joyful:

Tonight is the last performance of our current production, so we strike the stage tonight (tear everything down). Because it's such a long show (almost three hours), we won't get started until later than I'd like based on how large the set is, so we won't get as far as we usually do. But we have to get far enough tonight so that we don't have too much to finish by the end of shop hours on Tuesday, because we have to unroll our dance floor before we leave for Thanksgiving break so it can relax over the break. Then the Monday after we tape that out and get ready for a dance workshop. Always onto the next! :D

Hi Alicia,
I'm liking her cycles too! Nice consistency!
And what a smart girl, yowling to get you up for food!

Congrats on the finale day of the show (without a major hitch!).
Do you keep any of those sets you worked so hard to create? Pity if you have to chuck them all away...
Hope you don't have to work too late tonight! Have a good one, Alicia! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

What a smart kitty, that Kit is! She knows hoe to talk to her mama. Her cycles look great!
Good luck tonight Alicia. Hope you can enjoy the performance before the hard work of tearing it apart :(

We don't keep the set pieces, per se. We do tear them down and keep the pieces to build something new though! And honestly, by the time we get to today, I'm ready for them to go away, and sometimes I get to work off some inner rage with a sledgehammer, which always brings me such joy! :D:D

I was going to go last night, but a myriad of things made it not happen. I'm honestly okay with it - I saw it 4 nights last week, and it's almost 3 hours, so I'm pretty good at this point. :joyful: Ready to move on to the next thing!

Hi Alicia you need to go to those rage rooms where you can destroy everything, I'll go with you :p
Kit is looking great. :bighug::cat:
My friend who is also in theatre and I had lunch yesterday, and we both discussed that this needed to happen.

I swear every time I comment on her looking good, she throws me a yellow preshot.

The vet texted that Kit's labs - she said Kit's creatinine levels went from 3.0 to 2.4, which is great. I asked if I could have a copy of the paperwork, and she emailed it to me, so that's in the labs tab now. I haven't really looked over her lab paperwork before - her cholesterol and triglycerides are so high! And the blood work said her glucose was 14! I tested her just before and just after, so I know it wasn't low like that, but so weird! Her BUN is high, but she's in stage three ckd, so that isn't weird, right? Anywho, I was happy to see her creatinine levels come down. And that her phosphorus levels are still normal. Especially since all I did was add more water to her food. No other changes have been made.

Well, she's not coming down super fast, which is probably good since I need to go into work in about 30 minutes. Not sure what brought on tonight's cycle, but I'll consider it a bonus because of work.
