Looks like the 2u is flattening out. Increase in the near future.

I discovered yesterday that the day my dad shot the 47... he didn't give high carbs. He just picked up the nearest fancy feast and fed that... which had less carb than the Friskies he normally gets i am happy my cat is alive. The amount of "arguing" my dad does with me on what's actually needed for Gordys care drives me bonkers. He treats me like I am a moron. classic narcissist. (But if you ask him... he says he isnt... he says he is just a classic sociopath... which is not good either... ) I won't be asking him to ever look after him long term again.

While I was on vacation, my vet called and wants me to bring Gordy in for follow up bloodwork and a stupid frutosamine check. I am on board with the regular labs (good to have) but I am NOT paying $100+ for another frutosamine. The only reason I did one before was because she made a condition of his dental. My tests at home give a better picture. Anyway... I let them leave me voicemails. I am sure they'll call me again tomorrow.

Wow, glad Gordy is ok. I hope you find a good pet sitter for future travels. It's such a major concern with a sugar kitty.

My vet never calls unless it's a follow up. I guess it's good that your vet follows up, even if she is requesting a totally unnecessary test in her recommendations.

Sorry to hear that about your dad.

Have you thought about showing the vet Gordy's SS so she can see you do get a good picture of how he is doing?
