11/18 Arnie AMPS 333

By any chance, does Arnie get little mini meals during the day? I find that if I give Spot about a small tsp. of food at +4, +7 & +9, he has pretty good numbers. Just a thought....

Oh Arnie....you are so funny...alwasy wanting attention, eh? What do you do during the night as far as food goes?
Food does influence the numbers in both good and bad ways... there is always something to change, something to try. If they eat close to the preshot time, the number will be higher. So we leave at least 2 hours between the last food and the preshot. Some kitties does better if there is more of a fast...like 3-5 hours in between.

Arnie gets 3 meals a day and a snack in the morning around +9. He gets one can of FF after the AMPS and insulin. He gets the second in the afternoon, the time depends on whether I have to work both jobs or not. Then he gets the 3rd and final can after PMPS and insulin. I give him about 3/4 of that can and save 1/4 for the morning snack +9 when I get home from work.

what flavours of FF does Arnie get? Do you know their carb %?
