Today has been a high flat day:

Tonight will be the third Lev shot. I am having trouble with a big air bubble when i draw the dose, and am not sure what to do about it. With the Lantus vial I kind of tapped the syringe to release the bubble from the needle while it was in the vial... But I know you aren't supposed to inject air into the pen. I tried pulling in a bit more air after I take it out of the pen and then pushing it out, but it seems to only push out the lev and leave a little bubble. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!
Even with the pink numbers, Zeus has been great today... Full of purrs, came for attention and scratches. He even curled up next to me on the couch for a while this afternoon. Love that.
He was a bit of a naughty boy though... He kind of pushed Smokey away from her food dish to steal her food. Used to be the opposite way around, she would push him out of the way and he would just sit and wait. For a while now, he would at least wait until she was finished, but not today. Little stinker. Smokey is showing her age when getting up after being still for a while... And she has lost some weight, but then she still plays like a kitten flopping on the floor with her toys.
Hugs to all,
Kathie
