I would appreciate it if you experts could take a look at Tango's SS and let me know your thoughts. Is Tango just working this dose? Looks like an increase is needed? Maybe something else is going on?
Tango's back up to 1 unit and has been at this dose for several days. Although, in the morning cycles, he's having Nadirs in 60s and 70s, he's slowing getting higher blues with almost all PS #s. Haven't seen this pattern before since first diagnosed.

It looks to me like you could increase but can you get a later test at night as I wonder what the night nadir is. With the 88 at +2 last night it would have been a good opportunity to set an alarm and see.

Thanks Elsie. We'll shoot for getting a +6 test tonight and see where he's at.

Bhooma. We feed Tango around 3 hours before am and pm ps tests. We pick up food 30 minutes later if he did not finish. Then, after shot, he gets another 1/2. Sometimes he gobbles it down and sometimes it takes him a couple hours to eat taking it to +1 and +2.

Well... he gets food at bedtime - 11:30. Auto feeder is set for 3:00am and 6:00am. Are you saying don't give him any food at 6:00am? if so, we could try changing 3:00 feeding to 4:30. Not sure that will work though. As it is now, he's meowing at us for food at 8:30am. Not sure what he'll do if he has t wait longer. If he doesn't have any food for that long before test time, would that # be accurate?

He gets a total of 4 cans a day for a total of about 11 ounces a day. The only snacks he gets is a little broiled chicken at shot time and once in a while during the day. This has been his diet since first diagnosed. He has maintained approx 14.3 lbs. He was 17.5 before diabetes and lost a few pounds right away.
