Last condo, from 9/5
Time has flown by and I can't believe it's been so long since I've posted a condo for Champ. He hasn't had any issues and has been so awesomely perfect anti jinx. I still log on a few times a week to see how everyone is doing, but time is limited so I usually don't post.
Champ has been at the same dose for quite a long time. I had tried new syringes, Terumo's, but just about every one gets a bubble in it that can't be removed so I switched back to Relion. I couldn't trust Monoject anymore because of the needle not going all the way down into the barrel so I went back to the Relion's. The Relion's have the stickiest plunger, but there's never any bubbles and I haven't had any problems with the lines not being accurate so it's been good so far. Because of the inaccurate doses Champ was getting from the bubble in the Terumo syringes, his numbers started going a bit wonky. Then I had to shoot him two hours late one night because I had a Parent's dinner to go to at my daughter's Sorority and I needed to get him back to his correct shot time faster than what I should have done so his numbers are still a bit wonky. They are getting more normal, though, and we have seen green a few times. Unfortunately, pink still rears its ugly head on occasion, too!! I think I'm going to fatten his dose and see if that brings his numbers down a bit without me having to carb him to keep him safe. These days, I tend to enjoy seeing him in the high greens/any blues. Any lower makes me stay home/stay awake more than I like and any higher makes me feel I'm not doing my job!!
I used to spend all my time at my desk, even when I wasn't working, puttering around on the computer, watching TV, playing games, etc., etc., etc. (For those of you who don't know, I work from home). The TV in my living room broke back in August. I had been waiting for it to break so I would have a reason to finally buy a big screen TV. My old TV was a 15-year-old, 32 inch Sony, but I just couldn't get rid of it while it still worked. It finally went to TV heaven and I was free to finally get the TV my living room deserved!! I bought a 55 inch 3D LED TV and haven't sat at my desk to watch TV since!!! Little did I know the effect my sitting out in the living room would have on Champ. He's become my little snuggle bunny that I once knew!!! He sits with me on the couch, snuggled up against me, keeping me company. He even started sleeping on my bed again which he hasn't done in forever!! It's been a treat, probably for him as much as for me!!
My daughter turned 21 in September so she and I go out for a beer about once a week which is pretty fun. It's made me realize I still got it!!! My daughter loves going out with me because I always find guys to talk to!! Oh, to be young again!!!
So, that's all for now. Not much going on here, Champers is excellent, so not much to report. I hope everyone is doing well and having a great start to their weekend!!!
