Wearing my patience pants today. I'm honestly really discouraged. I feel like I'm losing time to get Bell into remission here, but I also recognize I'm doing everything I can and the last step is up to her. I think I got my hopes up with that really good stretch in September. I am super appreciative of all the reminders and support from this forum. You all are so kind and patient and positive to me.
I missed the urine sample twice today, ugh, so no ketone reading yet. I will keep trying, but I think I will take Heike's suggestion and grab a meter. One positive reminder (mostly to myself) is that we are around 2 months out from Bell's last anal gland rupture. I don't want to jinx it, but that is the longest stretch we've had since her first one. I don't know how I'd deal with her going through surgery right now. Extremely thankful for that.
