This has been a rough day here. Don's dad had a heart attack. Thankfully, he was already in the hospital for hernia surgery, so they caught it right away. One of my students had an allergic reaction bordering on anaphylaxis to, of all the crazy things, celery. Mikey had the runs, then after his butt bath, wouldn't let Don shoot, so he got his insulin late when we could gang up on him. I had parent conferences.... Big breath! Tomorrow is a new day. I think it's pretty clear that Mikey needs a dose increase. My plan is to put him up to .1 tomorrow night, and see what he does. What does everyone think about that? I can't do it before then, because no one will be around to monitor. I don't want to put him up to fast, because I have to work all week.

Mary - what a day. :YMHUG: Many vines to Don's dad, at least it was caught quickly.

I think going up to .1U is a good idea, when you can monitor. Mikey does so like to dive. :roll:

This is the 6th cycle after he started back on insulin. That means the depot should be full now. Any chance you can see where he is in a couple of hours? I'm going to modify my recommendation, increase if you don't see green before tomorrow.

I don't think I'm understanding you, Wendy. Do you mean I should increase to .1 tomorrow night, if I don't see any green numbers during the day? The only problem is that no one will be here to monitor him during the day. Also, what's with those fast drops! Odd duck our mikey.

I meant, increase tomorrow, if you don't see green tonight. Mikey is not alone with fast drops. Have you ever looked at Gabby's SS? She's famous for diving. Look back a couple of years - I think she's mellowed a bit lately.

Looks like he's slowing down tonight - only 30ish points in the past hour. I think your plan for the increase is a good idea.
