Yesterday was a much better day for Mannie. He actually managed to stay blue for the AM cycle - YAY!! It has been what seems like along time since we have had an all blue cycle. :cool: :cool: :-D I will not complain - I hope it is the beginning of good things for Mannie. Way to go big guy! LUBS ya! cat_pet_icon Still looking for those greens, which remain elusive. I wonder if he's finding them a little at night? Maybe? we've had some great lower amps that have led to a bounce... Not too sure... but we will give him a few more days on this dose before considering adding on another drop, knowing that Mannie needs time to process a dose change. :-D It was great to see that 184 this morning. WOOT!

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Yesterday I witnessed the eruption of WWIII. I decided that Mannie needs a good brushing, more than normal - ya know: his coat was looking a little ragged... in the process of course I find these hidden mats. One has to LOVE long-haired cats... :shock: :o so..... we went about removing them. :roll: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO said the Nanner King, and then the war started. HISSSSSSSSSSSSSS.... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...... Swat swat swat. CHOMP :twisted: rip :twisted: tear :twisted: scratch :twisted: ..... one bleeding bean. sheshhhhh - it was just one mat! :roll: :lol: :lol: Remind me not to go there again. We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs from the Nanner King! Breffis was consumed with gusto, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used. :shock: YES!!!!!! :razz: The Nanner king has been living up to his name: Mannie has spent the last day with the stash, arranging, chewing slobbering cuddling... sheshhhhh he loves those things. :lol: :lol: Today however is different.... Mannie knows... DGS returns today... so he sleeps, with one eye open.... waiting..... Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Hey everybody!! Boy of boy... I feel like one big pot of chicken soup... the KTSS sure has been busy - and I LUBS it! Our friends are so glad to see us - I hope we make them feel better. Maybe today we can take some time just to hangout ya know? Maybe on the beach and stuff. Or maybe the dunes? We haven't had a good dunes sliding in ages! See you guys soon, OK? ~~ Mannie

Good morning Michelle! Nice blues for Mannie. Yay!

I feel for you on the mats. Tarragon HATES to be brushed and is one huge mat. He actually has one behind each leg that I have been trying to get for a couple of weeks. We have started using my husbands rechargable nose trimmer. :lol: DH hold Tarragon tight and I go very gently with little strokes and just shave his undercarriage. :lol: It is always the long hairs that hate the brushing. I could brush Turnup (short hair tabby) all day anywhere and she would be happy.

Hey Mannie! Thank you so much for the KTSS. The soup was awesome too. Charlie said Tobes did a really good job on the massage after he got over the fact that Charlie was a drooler. We got LOTS of leaves and my beans are too busy to rake them up. Wanna come over and make leaf tunnels? Then off to the sand dunes. - Tarragon

Looking Goooooodddddd, Blue Mannie! Tess adores being brushed, it's her reward for putting up w/ the teeth brushing. Why do the short hairs like it so much more? Have fun w/ Nicholas today, I didn't need to say that , did I? :lol:

Mannie, it's supposed to be nice and warm here today so the Dunes will be perfect! The lizards should be out too. - Tess

Hi guys .. mannie, you look so good in blue, let's bring that low yellow back down, ok buddy? Sorry to hear about the combing struggles .. both our girls are short haired but only twix likes to be combed .. mocha tries to bite it for some reason .. have a great day!

Mannie, come back down to blue! Maggie has short hair but still sheds quite a bit. She loves to be brushed, but no messing with her brushing teeth! I hope the weather held out for a nice adventure with DGS today. All will be forgiven with Mannie when you both get home. :smile:

Thanks everyone for visiting Mannie while I cared for DGS. We did head on out today, to a river. It was taking a chance, as a major weather system is/has headed our way. We did great for the first hour and a half, then the rains hit. :shock: :lol: :lol: The last hour was spent car campin'! Nicholas had a blast - the car portion was as much fun as the out and about portion. What fun!

Thanks Melissa, Ann, Linda, Devon, Ann, and Lisa - your visit is appreciated! Well.... we seem to have a preference for the yellows tonight. At least it isn't that "other color". :-D I seem to have been forgiven for the brushing - omg. what an ordeal. Even the Zoom Zoom wasn't appreciated - he usually likes that brush. :roll: well, the nasty mats are gone, now we work on being more diligent with our brushing... like maybe twice a day.
Linda - so agreed on the body armor! :lol:
Ann - lucky!! My shorthairs don't mind it a bit. Mannie used to love it... until FD. Why should that make a difference?
Melissa - yup on the brushing - I've gotten really good at being able yo pull then apart for the fur comes out. It's almost easier than trying to brush.

Tess! AWESOME then! Dunes it is!!! We gots leaf tunnels to make at Mr T's too! What a day - see you there! ~~ Mannie.... or uh.... you need a ride?

I'm here in the city and can't wait for the gang to visit me. Tess wants to go shopping and Moonie wants to go to lunch at an elegant place. What do you think? Hot dog carts are pretty elegant!
