Oh I haz a bootiful BLUE boy this morning - he climbed into his pink pj's at +10 last night but decided they were too hot overnight. Hey Pook - I LIKES dos blue ones MUCH better! He didn't eat a bite overnight after his PMPS food, aujuis ate all that extra sweet. I'm thinking the f1.75u dose is quitting about +9-ish in each cycle lately as I keep seeing pinks starting about then....there's nothing else that changes during that time to cause them. I may have to add that bitty drop between 'fat' 1.75 and 'skinny' 2.0u's. There IS a difference. I measure 'fats' and 'skinnies' by the size of the drops I express from 2u's. I can make 3 different size drops!
Leak is FIXED!!!! We have full time hot water again!!! DH pulled toilet off yesterday, I pulled up the floor patches and right there it was!! Another connection ring gave out and let water start spraying between the copper Tee and the pipe. I started a cold leak when I began working on the hot side so changed out that Tee too. I could have tightened it but it would end up leaking again later...now it won't!! YARD DANCE!!!!
AND the furnace is fixed! It's about gone, good chance it won't last this winter. They replaced the thermocouple and rebuilt the head covers enough to get it running again. The burner is burnt thru in 3 places, they SAID there were no parts for it but I can get online and I find them. I think they just want to sell us a new unit which is about $2500 - no way can we afford that. Not sure what we'll do when it goes, guess we'll go to small room heaters. I could order one of those new burners but the firebox will burn thru shortly also so it would truly just be throwing money away for maybe another few months of use. Oh well....I'll put it in God's hands, there's nothing I can do to help it...worrying and imagining only makes it worse.
Thoughts and prayers today for Roni/Moonie/Brad - fight sweet boy, fight. Also a share of those for our new extra sweet babies showing up every day. I'm very thankful they're finding us and trusting us enough to listen to us when their vet's not handling 'dire beasties' right. That's a hard step to take for many people.
