Yesterday's condo
Well China's coming back down after her higher than normal night, but boy was it nice to be able to not even think about needing to get up and test overnight!! We're back in the mid 40's at +6 today so that's her 2nd 40 at the .5 (but I THINK I might have given a Fat .5 this morning...My eyes didn't want to focus too well)
Had a bad night...even though China was doing fine and I didn't have to worry about her, I couldn't sleep for more than a few minutes at a time. I think I was too tired to sleep, plus with me doing my best impression of a pack mule yesterday, and a cold front moving in (with rain of course), it was a bad pain night. Isn't a good pain day today either :sad:
On a more positive note, Mom is sounding stronger, and was able to do her own sponge bath this morning. They won't let her take a shower for some time yet because of the risk of infection, so sponge baths are all she can have, but at least she was able to do it more on her own today. She's able to get to her bathroom on her own today too, so she's making good progress so soon. She also SOUNDS like my mother today...there's some fight in her voice as well as a spark in her eyes that I saw yesterday. That's what I've been waiting for...for her to decide if she was going to fight, or give up.
Haven't decided if I'm going over today or not. It's still raining, I'm still really tired, and I'm just not sure I'm up for another 2 hour drive. Maybe if I get my "second wind" later, I'll run over there.

And another 40 for China on the .5! Well, you will know soon enough if it was a fat dose or she wants a reduction. I still can't believe how great she did with all the changes and stresses that were going on!
