Well, I was sure that I had shared some crazy days with y'all...
but this one may top them all.
I was off-track before I even began this morning...had a schedule conflict with a recruiter and
had declined his invite for an interview yesterday...
He called me this morning at 6:30 am :shock: and asked to run through a phone interview...and when that went well,
he asked me to join him for lunch in between the 2 appts I had scheduled so we could talk further
before he flew back east.
So I dashed two cities over for a meeting with a panel of 7 interviewers...
(which is actually my favorite kind of interview)
it went well...sped back to Boise with literally minutes to spare...
and had a "get to know you over foodies" interlude...
then was anxious & excited to get to my first meeting
with the new upper mgmt crew at my previous employers'.
My lunch guy is quite a talker (albeit an interesting one) and chatted me out to my car...luckily his phone rang,
and I prepared to make my escape.
And, as I pulled out of my parking space, the SOB (still talking on his phone) whipped around the curb
and t-boned my poor little MR2 with his rented Jeep Liberty.
Unfreakin-believable...
I surely hope that his stories about how he's never failed in his career to earn a substantial bonus aren't hot air :roll:
Zoom Zoom is not totalled, but I will be "asking Mommy if I can borrow the car" for awhile :lol:
I have to run up to see my sis before she goes to bed...so will be sneaking into condos later on...
see if we can't drop in on more than we managed yesterday.
Binks would like me to drop the subject of MY day...and tell you about HIS (since it is, after all...his condo)
well...he was rambunctious this morning before I left, all p's present...
and he was in a great mood this evening when i got back...
and now he is desperately asking himself "just how long can this old bag rant on???" :lol:
