Morning! :coffee:

Yesterday's drama. :p

Still don't quite understand why there are some days when Ruby downhill skis from her AMPS down past her PMPS while other days there is a perfect V- or U-shape with a distinct nadir. She is eating the same amount at pretty much the same time every day recently. Might this mean that her pancreas is starting to do its share of insulin production ? Or is it that sometimes Lantus will act for anywhere between 6-18 hours? Or maybe we will never ever know because cats? :joyful:;)

Unfortunately it's not always easy to tell why. Insulin is a hormone and can act differently each day. How the cat is feeling, the phase of the moon, or how much exercise the cat gets can affect things. Ruby is looking good lately. Hopefully her pancreas is sputtering.

I suspect what you were seeing yesterday was her breaking the bounce from the greens the day before. Sometimes that carries a bit of extra momentum.
