I started Panzer on Lantus solo star pen on 11-12 @ PMPS due to having unusually high numbers on his 11-10 PMPS cycle & his 11-12 AMPS cycle. I thought maybe since we were at the bottom of the vial of insulin glargine that it was starting to not have potency. He had a fairly flat cycle AMPS & PMPS on 11-13. On 11-14 he was high for Panzer in the 200s for both cycles. I didn't get many tests in today for AMPS cycle but it was in the blues & fairly flat. At PMPS he tested 97/98 retest, he is now @77 @+3. I know that the 2 insulin are basically the same but is he just now getting the depoot in his system? I thought about an increase on Friday but now I'm just kinda stumped as to what is going on. Interesting. He was flat yellow yesterday/last night, I'm thinking it was just a long slide down today back into some nice numbers.

I would expect to depot to be unaffected between the two insulins but I can't say that with certainty.
 
Panzer's #s are unusually high today. I think I may have shot air this morning. I'm going to start getting up 30mins early instead of 10mins before shot. Then I will be fully awake & can see what I'm doing better. He hit a 58 on November 17th!

He may need an increase but I'm hesitant because next week Thanksgiving week is going to be hectic & I won't be testing as much.
 
Panzer & Spook have both been really picky today about eating even with miritaz on there ears. I think they are sick of fancy feast. I gave them some Weruva BFF chicken duck & turkey take a chance earlier & they gobbled it up. I just now gave them Sheba tender beef entree & they gobbled it up. We still have quite a bit of fancy feast left but I'm going to start throwing Weruva & Sheba in the mix & hopefully switch them over.

Panzer's #s have been really nice today as well :cat:
 
Based on Panzer's numbers for his pm cycle. I think he dropped lower than 68 in between 2.25 AMPS & 7.5 AMPS before I got home to test him & he is bouncing.
