Where did the weekend go? I was so looking forward to some time at home to chill out, and I think I ended up busier than I do on my workdays. :YMSIGH: Oh well, back to the grind.
Emma's blues from Friday were short lived. Haven't seen any since. Must have been a little NDW. She got a dosecrease to 7.5 this morning. I'm going to try to get her to the vet this week for her follow up bloodwork for the elevated liver enzyme, and I'm going to ask them to send some off for the high dose tests. I'm not sure we'll get it done this week though - it's definitely going to be a crazy one, because I'm leaving on vacation on Monday for the week. I'll need to decide on a dose for her while I'm gone...I don't think it will be too much of a problem since she's not hitting any dangerous numbers. I do think I'll reduce it a bit though, only because I'm concerned about how much she'll eat while I'm away. There will be a young woman staying here with my whole crew. She lived here for a few months, so they all know her. I highly doubt Emma will let her test her. I'm going to show her how to do it, but I really don't think Emma will go along with it if I'm not here. She's not nice to other people, especially when I'm away. I think she'll be able to give the shots though...a little FD chicken sprinkled on the food, stick her when she's preoccupied with that - that'll work!
Overall she's doing ok - not as perky as she was on Friday, but that makes sense since her numbers have been higher. She's still pretty happy though. She actually sat next to me for a while last night, and was looking for attention. You know I haven't been home much when that happens!
