Good morning - all OK here this AM, lots of purring while puncturing even though I managed to hit the vein this morning - got about a half a gallon of blood but pleased with myself that I didn't let him flick it off (so it didn't end up all over my shirt and half of the kitchen!)

Another Acro-style increase today, up to 6.5u now, from AM shot this morning.

eta: Just got the other P so I snagged a Ketone test - Negative.

hee hee, I had to giggle at the blood splatter comment, one time Luna splattered all over my face and glasses! :lol: not fun!

I hate it when I poke the vein. I test Gabby on the kitchen counter. I inevitably find a bit of splatter I've missed cleaning on the cabinets. Good going with the dosecrease. I'm assuming you've stocked up on HC food. From what it sounds like, once you hit an active dose, you could be feeding HC by the can!

Hi ROnnie, yes - been there, done that too..! Right on as regards the acro dx - getting tons of help as you can well imagine! Don't mind the e-hugs at all - and since I'm about the world's worst at condo-visiting, I'm just glad that you dropped by!!

Yep we use the kitchen counter too..! We have marble counter tops and it's really easy to slide him around to get him into position!

Thanks Sienne for mentioning this - and that's a yes on the HC food, we're hoping we get to that magic dose soon but yes, ready for anything that could happen... a sudden drop in IGF1 while still pumping in gallons of Lantus, we can all readily imagine, would be pretty scary...

I realized one day that I had kitty blood on my chin....such a shock when I saw that in the mirror...but then again, the mirror is usually a shocking sight even when there isn't kitty blood...

Good to be able to relax a bit and have a few giggles, the last week or so got a bit serious!

Yes we're watching the Vikes, just went up 10-7 at the Bears (also watching the other games on the DirecTV Red Zone channel). Hope that was what you meant by enjoying some games?!?!? Sooty is having some zzzzzs!
