Yesterday started pink and went to some very nice low blues then ended up in a pink evening. On the positive side, she spend a good amount of time in nice normal numbers yesterday afternoon.

Today started almost pink and then continued the bounce, plus I think there was a partial fur shot this morning. Neko moved her head just as I was pushing the plunger and I felt a bit of wet. Sigh! It's a nice dry day here, with some sun poking through. Neko has been out a couple of times and littered the kitchen with a fine assortment of needles. She is currently grooming and will probably get the rest of the needles off shortly. I may encourage her to try the solarium in a little while. There she will be "safe" from the vacuum cleaner.

That's definitely a positive! Sorry about the bounce - hope it clears soon. I hope she enjoyed her safe retreat from the vacuum cleaner!

Sounds like Neko has such a nice life -- outside a forest to get needles suck in her fur from, and inside a warm wonderful solarium... :razz: safe from vacuum cleaner demons! Reuben lets me vacuum him, but Zack is like Neko, he fleeeees! Nice healing blues for Neko mid cycle recently Thanks for the visit last night :razz:

hahahaha - you know you spend too much time focused on diabetes when you hear "needles" and think pokies for insulin! i'm glad neko has tree needles to play with!

great report on the little girl. she's doing great. what nice numbers today.

The during the day numbers seemed to indicate that some insulin got in, but not all. At least she seems to be coming down nicely this evening. She's "helping" me make pumpkin scones. Much better if she would help me from off the counter. :roll: :lol:

@Carla - Neko didn't get all of the dose this morning, I did feel wet fur, but she is coming down nicely tonight.

@Libby - The bounce seems to be clearing, but it might be my turn to be up later tonight! I raked leaves instead today - Neko didn't seem to want to go in the solarium. Tomorrow maybe for the vacuum monster.

@Alexa - We have two hemlock trees and two large cedar trees at our house, so lots of things for Neko to get caught in her fur. I wish she would let me vacuum her. That's amazing Reuben lets you do that.

@Julie - just missed you. Numbers are so-so today, yesterday was better. I liked the start but messed up on the "needle" poking. Too funny on that, I hadn't thought of it that way.
