Hi All....

Well there are some days when you are just wrong...

Yesterday's Condo

There is nothing wrong with Attie's tum-tum...BUT....

We're treating for pneumonia....BUT....

The X-Rays didn't appear totally consistent with pneumonia and they are being sent out for review by a radiologist. There were some fine stringy images in the upper part of the lung.

"Attie's lungs are full of crud," said the vet.

Attie's symptoms are not consistent with pneumonia or metastic lung cancer, but there is something going on in his lungs.

He has lost a pound of weight since 10/12.

Dude's dem vetty folks are nice, but I'z not feelin' goodz and they be wanting to flip-flop me around on a coldz table taking my picturez. So I bits da' guy dat called me Sasquatch de last time. De gots me a e-collarz to wear after dats. ~~Attie

Hoping & praying for Atlas's full recovery! Could he have asthma? -
Hope whatever it is it will BE GONE!! guess you need some HUgs from us!!

Thanks Ronnie...

I'm not all the whigged out though. We'll see where this goes for now...

Getting Attie set-up in the Master bedroom with the humidifier....

He was quite hungry when we got home...as opposed to his lack of appetite this weekend...

I didn't realize so much was going on with attie .. I hope you can get this figured out, perhaps as suggested, it is asthma? Positive thoughts to you all :YMHUG:

Well, it's good that all the things that it could be aren't what it is. I hope this clears up quickly.

Well having dealt with cats with pneumonia before I guess I don't feel too bad not recognizing it. Even the vet hesistated doing the X-rays and I think he was a little suprised at the amount of crud too? Course Attie purrs the whole time on the exam table and you can't really listen to his lungs. ohmygod_smile

Paws crossed this is just a bad case of the buggy-boo. He is in the master bedroom now with the humidifier and some lavender sprigs ...I just heard him cough again.

We are started on clavamox. I declined the Convenia shot due to Attie being known to have allergies.

We vote for the buggy-boo too!!!

Attie-hunker down over that humidifier and get better!
Time for the KTSS to head your way...

celi

Attie! u bitz dat guy??? SWEET! teach him to call u names!

Praying for temp buggy-boo. Sending healing vines to Attie.

Attie!!! We're on the way with KTSS!!! We'll bring you some yummy stuff to eat and Tobes will give you a good massage and get that vetty smell off you!!! Poor ATTIE!!

Hi Beth,
I think it's good that it isn't one of those other things! Could it be environmental? Does Attie go outdoors and snuff around in weeds and stuff? Is there a lot of particulate matter in the air where you live? Whatever it is, I hope that the humidifier and the lavender will help.
Rusty is coming to visit with the KTSS.
Feel better, Attie!

WOW - I sure hope Attie is better soon! It is good that it is not those things that you mentioned. I hope that the humidifier helps him - poor guy! probably a good ting on the covenia - not a huge fan of that drug. Mannie and I send many healing vines - be well Attie!

Attie - we is coming!! KTSS is on its way. and uh dude? excellent on biting that dude man- well done! ~~ Mannie

Oh my, I hope Attie gets rid of the crud! I know exactly what you mean about trying to listen to his lungs on the exam table....Mr T does the same thing. The vet can never get a good listen to his lungs, he purrs the whole time he's there!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes being sent our way...

Well we just have to wait and see what the radiologist has to say. Should have an answer mid-morning.

Yea...the vet calls it the nervous purr. Although after the x-rays he was totally stressed, open mouth panting, hyperventilating etc. plus couple that with the congested lungs....Atte was not happy. :?
